America 10 years ago, you can find a 20 out of 10 hottie like Natalie being a cashier. Now a girl like her is in Dubai for the lifestyle and a tiny bit of attention from the guy that flew her there, which is sad because she's less happy than Natalie. Who got married and has kids.

Now that I work in a grocery store (though not as a cashier), I can confirm that this is greatly exaggerated, but not as much as I used to think. We really are required to do quite a few pointless things that just waste the customer's time. And ours.

I give to charity a couple times a year specifically so when the grocery store employees ask if I want to give a dollar to help fund the local children's hospital, I can say I already did.
