The G5 certainly has the better camera. Was Leica even sure when they approved their name to be showcased on the back of the P9? Because it certainly isn't doing them any favors. It may take better photos when the PRO mode is utilized, but many consumers prefer to shoot most of the time in auto. Which is where the competition is really good at.

interesting, on other reviews camera performance of p9 was better, at least on photos.

I would have gotten the lg g5 but sadly i live in Mexico and here the lg g5 isnt available is the lg g5se that is less powerful and that turned me off...P9 better everything except for the camera against the lg g5se

Does the Hauwei P9 have a front flash like the LG G5 does ? I currently own a G5 as my daily driver but I thought the comparison between these two were very good and fair. :) Actually disappointing how far behind Hauwei is with their camera in my view. :)

i wanted to buy g5 but due to screen retention problems. i think i'll pass. pro mode is where the p9 will shine. can battle g5 head on in pro mode. as a phone i have seen that the g5 throttle during some high end games and the p9 is doing great handling games

G5 doesnt worth a penny ( screen problems, overheating, removable battery slot that doesnt slide perfect ) ... if u can find P9 in under 400$ its best buy
