I don't know how that stupid man called frederic who is a king can reject such a beautiful women like onyix after taking her virginity and go back with her old fiancee....This trouble me , but also make me understand that nothing is greater than the true love❤....WE are waiting for the part 2

My take: Every story must not have a happy ending
Reality is, when a man says he can't, he truly can't
Then for my ladies, if Mgbechi had a little bit of confidence, if she truly loved herself
She would have withheld her body from him, she had the power to, he wouldn't have forced her...
Knowing that she was still a virgin, she should have given him the ultimatum of getting married to her first before consumption....
And if he still went ahead to anul the marriage, she should boldly ask for damage control.....
A woman who laid with a king and had nothing to show for it is a foolish woman....
As a woman you can't afford to be that weak, seeing that the man who was supposed to be her father couldn't protect her, by all means she should have tried to protect herself....
Now for those asking for a part two, every film must not end like your typical nollywood movie....keep your feminine emotions aside...
If we're trying to be realistic here, Mgbechi is not supposed to accept him again if he realizes his mistakes and has truly fallen for her...which is very unlikely, for a man of that age and caliber is expected to know exactly what he wants.....
Sophia is sophisticated and a perfect queen material, and she's been with the man and they both know each other so well......
let's be truthful, apart from physical beauty, mgbechi needed a lot of grooming....

Pls we need to appreciate the makeup artist,the makeup and d royal dress up was dope💯💯, totally on point

This was my third nigerian movie because I want to learn and understand more about the life and traditions of the tripes. I am glad that old traditions get lost and there is a way for real love. For this story I was loving the kings mom and her empathy to Mbiche. I felt so sorry for Mbiche, which was innocent and with a lovely heart. The last seconds at the film the "real love" of the king was giving me vibes of "she is loving the money and options" - the king will collect the experience of beeing left by the partner at part 2.

Can we have part two already!!!!

This is selfish and exploitative . You could have just let her in on your plan ,so that you two can divorce but not exploit her .

I love nigerian movies... a lot and i never comment on social media but this movie right here raised emotions in me i never knew i had! What Mbechi went through 😢 in the hands of an educated man who could have dismissed this whole arranged marriage from the start before she fell inlove with him! Though i understand where he's coming from... I mean he had already built his own life, now he has be King and not only that but he now has to marry someone else to make his people happy... I have mixed emotions about this movie. I agree with everyone who's asking for a part 2...
