Here's a short video I produced from a press conference which we held minutes after Steve Fossett landed at Salina from his 3rd GlobalFlyer circumnavigation mission. K-State at Salina served as Mission Control for Steve's 1st and 3rd GlobalFlyer missions (#2 was in Kent, England for the distance record). In this clip, Steve highlights K-State's role and thanks the City of Salina and K-State.
Like several of those clips with the city of Salina and surrounding region watching for Fossett news, I had to edit this in under an hour for uploading to Salina's local cable station, Community Access TV, for "nearly live" coverage as well as post it to K-State's GlobalFlyer live streaming webcast.
