You should have seen the Lighthouse museum in Fraserburgh. Really worth a visit.
ОтветитьYou visit abroad and Scotland. How about Sussex. It’s very beautiful especially Ashdown forest
ОтветитьDo the heart 200 route
ОтветитьChristmas morning at Peterhead Prison
they treated us real good..,
black pudding and sausages
carved out of wood.
Excellent.
ОтветитьHi Steve, according to Google the puffens on May Island, the male is slightly biger then the female, but they all look the same. Those black birds are called Comorant. I enjoy this trip, but get angsious that you might miss your boat. Keep up the hard walk and work. Enjoy each other, you and Falicja, life is just to short. 😊
ОтветитьLooks like an interesting drive .. but a bit touristy ?? I laughed my giggle button off when you mentioned the owner of the golf course and the windmills. Not wanting to get into any orange jokes or was it origin .. but a shame you didn't have a shot of a dead seagull. Cheers mate .. love your stuff. ;)
ОтветитьAhhhhh... So, there IS an upside to memory loss. I'd seen this video before, but forgot most of it. I'm now in the middle of watching it again and loving it. Now, if only YT would let me give it another thumbs up...
ОтветитьThe coast road from The Broch to Inverness is an absolute joy. Just one beautiful little town or village after another.
ОтветитьMy friend used to be a tour guide at the Lochnagar distillery when the bus loads of people arrived they were called the piss and postcard brigade as that is all they ever bought or used.
ОтветитьLove that old Buck, and well maintained too! The Scottish colours...intended or "retrofitted?" Hmmm
ОтветитьWe have just done some of the north east250 ,we landed at Inverness so worked backwards to you,but we loved it,slaine castle amazing ,porsoy so pretty, we visited footdee in aberdeen, and barmoral but didn't manage to get in! Loved your viedo Steve
ОтветитьWhen you do these vlogs, you are letting people see places they have no chance to see in real life. Plus to see what a stunning place Scotland is. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьOk ok I give up how on earth did you get 2 sunny days in north east Scotland,ya jammy bugger.
ОтветитьBeautiful coastline!.
ОтветитьTrump can jist .....
ОтветитьIt wasn't that long ago you could drive right up to slains castle
ОтветитьHi Steve 🙋🏼♂️!
Second time watching this video, cause I just love your offerings on one side but I certainly love getting to see areas of your beautiful country 🤩😍🥰,
Ha!
I wouldn’t be surprised, if those offshore Wind turbines dislike the owner of that since cursed Golf course just as much 😬😜😘!
It was good to see the DB5. Is that Bond on his way to Skyfall?!
ОтветитьWe're so lucky to find your channel. Your (and Aleshja's) spontaneous budget minded adventures sre so inspiring. We'd love to see a video about your van. Many thanks. Safe travels
ОтветитьThe swimming bird was either a Razorbill or a Guillimot.
ОтветитьJack and Victor would have loved all those distilleries. 😂. Great video. I was born in Scotland but my family moved to Ireland when I was a kid. Have been back to Glasgow many times but only on short visits with not enough time to explore a bit of the country. Hopefully I'll get the time next summer for a week or two with a campervan.
ОтветитьGreat video and ad for the north east , you missed out by not walking the coast path from Crovie to Gardenstown. The houses in Crovie are nearly in the sea ! 😂
ОтветитьThose small villages are stunning and blessed to be far enough from heavily populated areas. Otherwise, as in other parts of our islands, the properties would be bought out and used for Airbnb, losing their identity and pricing out the locals.
ОтветитьGreat photography Steve, you know your stuff! Thanks for takign us wih you..
ОтветитьI do not like whisky it actually makes me ill, I can not drink it. I love the ships and the harbour and the villages they are beautiful
ОтветитьStand Fast Craigellachie.......
First Labour PM from Lossiemouth..😊
Got to love those wind turbines! ... Got to love them.I was at a rally the other day and I was telling the huge .. huge crowds ... You got to love those wind turbines! :)
ОтветитьLoved that tour, many thanks! :)
ОтветитьFailed to do the 250 justice imho. Poorly planned and not enough time given to it.
ОтветитьGreat footage, visited several of the places mentioned here but not as a 250 loop, might just have to give it a go as it looks so good.
ОтветитьI am Scottish but married a Greek islander and have lived in Greece for 45 years. Before Covid had started doing trips with friends around the highlands and islands. Having discovered that my paternal ancestors were all from the north east coast am very interested in visiting there. Your video has given me so many options.... I want to take my son and family to Scotland and am filling pages and pages of 'interesting places to visit' from your videos. Love them. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьI drove that coast in 1992 and loved it. Those charming villages and towns are a delight. As a teenager I read Compton Mackenzie's "Whiskey Galore"
ОтветитьThanks! Will be there in April into May for 3 weeks. Great videos. I was stationed in Dunoon for 2 years in 77. I loved Scotland. Can't wait to we get there and have a pint with locals!
ОтветитьDid you not visit the Lighthouse Museum in Fraserburgh? It’s well worth a visit!
ОтветитьI love your road trips thank you. And your travel to Spain and I eland was beautiful. You also made me curious about Denmark and Norway.
ОтветитьDo you have a road trip around Ireland. I drove around Dingle peninsula, Ring of Kerry, Connemara. Didn’t get to cliffs of zmohar. Went to Ballybunion. Loved Ireland. I’ll live Scotland too.
ОтветитьEverybody is jumping on the money making bandwagon.
ОтветитьOff to Peterhead working tomorrow.
ОтветитьOne of my favourite postings of yours. I could almost smell the sweetness of Royal Deeside. Well done!
ОтветитьThis route is full of place names I've heard of. Did you get close to Fraserburgh lifeboat?
ОтветитьI'm seeing this 3 years later, I will search for your Balmoral visit!
ОтветитьThis was so enjoyable to watch doing winter snow storms and cold. 🙂 This is a treasure so many little fishing villages it would have taken us forever to get to the end because we would always have to stop! 🙂 You are a master of a tour and so relaxing to travel alongside with!
ОтветитьLovely little trip Steve!
ОтветитьI know the hinterland somewhat from the late 1960s when it felt my feet as a geologist. But as my time included two winters my climate memory is not so sweet! And at that time Peterhead and Fraserburgh were --- grim, and also very quiet. Good to see things picked up these days.
I did nearly fall off a grassy cliff at one time, out alone getting earth samples, but the usual lightning reaction from imminent mortal danger got me to safety.
Wondering if they still do farm auctions up there or has all the land gone to the agro giants...
Scotland is beautiful? Thank you.
Ответить😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
ОтветитьMerry Christmas and happy new year from New Zealand 🥃🥃🏴
ОтветитьI can tell you Gardenstown is an amazing little place. I delivered a kitchen to a small cottage there around 2005. Always tell people about it.
