Yeah if it stops about half closed that is frequently an extractor that is too tight. You can find videos online for how to adjust that. If it does it with reloads but not factory ammo then maybe you need more taper crimp.

ОтветитьGood grouping. You're limp wristing when you shoot. That may be why it's jamming.
ОтветитьCommented on your 2nd video. These are new guns? You don't have to take my advice. Run factory through it until.... The 1911 platform can be challenging at the beginning on SOME not all models. I had one and you would recognize the name. 350 rounds in I was scratching my head. Reliability finally showed up. I corresponded (Only Clue) with Customer Support (An Oxymoron) I was about to wrap it up and put the $2800 example up for sale and take the loss. It kept eating at me.
Well, If you want anything done right.... I detail stripped it. Cleaned, Oiled. Then adjusted the trigger pull from 5# to 3.5# by tuning the sear spring . Better after a range session...now 400 rounds. I decided to replace the rear sight after research determined it was too narrow. The set up was not proper for the front sight size vs. the Rear Gap. Huh, it was like this was planned. Recap I had reliability to start and accuracy was dismal. It is now in my carry rotation.
There are plenty of vids here about how to tune an extractor, and detail strip. Also check out Hilton Yam's channel 10-8 performance pay attention to his testing protocol around extractor tension. Good luck on your Journey.
No you are just a weirdo. It's a 600 dollar 1911. WTF do you expect. You sound like some kind of a Silver Spooner...😂
ОтветитьUnfortunately i just bought the Yukon and it appears that I got one of the lemons. I have to tap the back of the slide to chamber the rounds ever few shots. Hoping to RMA it to the dealer I bought it from as I’m probably done with Tisas. If that doesn’t work I’ll send it back to Tisas for repair. I’m not confident they can fix it as I’ve heard a couple bad stories about this Yukon. It seems that there is a design fault here. I have the same gun in 45acp and it’s 100% reliable with any ammo.
