I used to follow this gentleman, until I saw his video that he doesn't just follow the Bible, he uses other sources including stoic philosophers

However I am disappointed to see that the man featured in the reaction video also believes that “true” faith is justified by works. You have featured him at least 3 times now. This is an on time message. I’m just getting to the point where I’m not staying at a job for the sake of a high salary because it’s “safe”. I’m about to leave my high paying job for full time ministry. I agree that there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with working hard and making money, but my security and worth don’t come from it. Time is short and I want to pursue following Jesus and advancing the Kingdom as well as helping people in their need rather than chase the money. Some will have a better experience in the high paying job and use it to advance the Kingdom while loving what they do and that’s fantastic. But it’s not the case for everyone.

It is wisdom of the world that money marks success.. hard work, etc.. and poverty comes from being lazy, unmotivated.. untalented.. etc..


Yet it is the most selfish, most ruthless and least caring people who are geared to succeed in this world over others. Why? Because if you don't care about people, your focus is only on your success.. your opportunities are far greater in number, as you are willing to do what others are not.. and you have no concern for anything other than your success.

The world is evil.. therefore, it is the wicked who thrive in a system that inherently rewards wickedness. And since this is the wickedness that isnt unlawful, most people in fact don't even consider it wicked (yet God finds EVERYTHING the world holds in high regard as abomination)

Thank you brother, i have often felt shame for struggling to provide for my family. But I also don't want to take advantage of people. But God has always provide my needs.

As a poor man i seem to get blasted by this mindset constantly, yet i know ive got good life opportunities to help others with my time i have for furthering the gospel of grace. Pray for me, i need to do better than being distracted.

Onorato your gospel makes all sense and is backed by scripture but one thing that trips me up is people who claim they have actually had an encounter with God and some even had many and many of those people say things like repent of your sins or there is proof that a person is saved by their lifestyle or things like that and seeing them get emotional talking about those encounters it really seems they have actually been saved and encountered God im not trying to trip your theology but im just trying to find Jesus and im really confused😕

As someone who’s about to graduate college I’m guilty of having the worldly mindset about my value and purpose being based on various statuses and markers. I want to store up treasure in heaven and pray God will show me how.

God called us Men to be Men, I used to think I was a real man until I got saved a few years back. Money is a tool if taken properly in context.

Chasing after Money 💰 is like trying to catch the wind with your fist.
That! is covetousness and thereby the root of all evil.
For many have been ensnared and fallen into many foolish and hurtful lust.

However, it can also provide the ability to bless, help others.

I can't really help another person tangibly if I'm flat broke not having two pennies to rub together.

It's what we do with the tool and how we use it.

We ought not to be greedy, but I have also met some Christians that think that being broke/poor is being humble; which is not the case; that's a false humility.

I'd rather have a extra pair of shoes to give to someone else who has none, then to not have any shoes of my own.
How will I give to him who has none if I'm penniless too?
Nothing wrong with having money in and of itself.

Jesus was a poor man he rode on a donkey and was humble despite him being God

I liked a lot things that the dry creek wrangler had to say. But if you hear his stance on faith without works is dead, he is way off base. He backloads works into to salvation. So I'm done listening to him.

The only "thing"we can take with us, is souls. Win souls!

As a woman whenever i have tried to encourage men to think of themselves in a broader way, as God does, its always fallen on hardened ears.
The way ive seen it, men set the pace - and their believing that they are/should be 'providers' has influenced womens thinking down the line to act in line with that and now we have a tangled up mess and everyone is stuck...

I remember as a young girl i would read about the biblical woman and see she was a successful business woman while her husband/ the biblical man was a wise community driven man who sought unity and depth of relationship, i would then look around and feel an incongruence with modern frameworks...

I pray the Holy Spirit continues to lead men into deeper sense of who they truly are and meant to be in this world and the one to come.

All men, to some extent, measure our own worth by our work ethic and financial prosperity. It is culturally learned that a woman of value will not value you if you are not financially successful. It is a delicate balance because we do have a role to do as a "provider". We do have to put a roof over our wife and kid's heads and feed and clothe them, and in these inflationary times that is not easy. Service to/for others and comfort to others tends to fall the wayside.

Boy did I need to hear this. And I and I should know better but it sure is easy to get on the wrong road in the wrong practices for the wrong reasons and this misleading world

Im in a situation were i have nobody no one cares about me i try daily to be a good person, i work hard but don't have anything i constantly watch bad people getting everything they want with ease. Working hard and being good doesn't get you anywhere, but although my emotions try drive me down and drown me, my faith keeps me afloat. Im already used to living the most miserable existence I've been in the desert over 7 years were absolutely nothing works for me. God is close but if this is my life i just have to accept it. Having a guilty feeling over making a good money and enjoying a life of ease doesn't even sound like a life lead by God. Doesn't matter which sorrows are on the person.

Without money, you can't survive. Unless you know how to hunt and fish and build your own cabin in the snowy mountains, you're not eating or sleeping under a roof. Plus people like me have to have money to pay for internet. I do enjoy my video games.
