this is a perfect example of how the internet misleads. first, osprey. not a hawk. second, raven. not a crow. third, as usual edited to tell a story. the full video shows the osprey left the nest in pursuit of the raven. then the raven returns with feathers already stuck to its beak. the raven then kills osprey chicks. brutal.

This video is all made up. First, those are osprey chicks not hawks and on the revenge part, those are peregrines that have the raven not mom osprey (which the narrator calls hawk) smh

I'm sorry to disappoint, but the last part of the video is not the same at all, the original ending has the Raven coming back to the nest after the hawk fell after crashing into a tree and a near fox killed her off.

I remember once back in 2016, I drove to Burlington, Vt, to take care of some work. and on my way there I was a bald eagle fighting a murder of crows on the ground for roadkill deer. I couldn't stop to watch the battle, so on my way home I looked and the deer carcass was gone. I have no idea how the battle ended or what happened to the deer carcas. It had to have been too heavy for the eagle to carry it off, but I've been wrong before. (I originally wrote 2006 but then noticed the mistake)
