I've seen no one has mentioned it, but the book is created by the TV show QI. As a British lad, QI was one of the greats on TV and a wonderful factual quiz show with comedy mixed in. It would be hosted by Stephen Fry and now presented by Sandy Toksvig and is just a fun show growing up. If you like these quirky facts in these books, I highly recommend the TV show, it has british humour, but it welcoming to everyone.
