You can see that the amount of time that humans supposedly evolved, insects and other life on Earth had hundreds of millions of years to evolve a few times over.... It seems to me that perhaps these insect beings did indeed alter our genes throughout our history. These visitations, abductions and contacts are most likely them taking samples and studying us. Kinda like when you go to the lab to get your blood drawn. We are really just a highly advanced biological experiment that isstudying our evolution.

I had somewhat of a similar experience in about 1956 in west coast of Canada.. I had laid down on a night full of stars on a beach near home and on staring at the stars I wondered what it was like on them. A week or so later in my bedroom was awakened by what looked like 3 or 4 odd child sized children with largish heads. On walking over they seemed friendly and one held out its hand which I held. We next seemed to pass through the wall and ascend to what seemed to be a structure or craft higher over our drive way. About 100 yards up at night hovering quiet and we entered a lit doorway. Inside I was led to what you refer to as a mantis like being who seemed to be the boss. It was tall and thin. 8 or 9 feet but with a smaller thinner head than you show. Very thin and insect like. Seemed very smart. In control. Said where would I like to go. So we went for a nearby ride. Next, after less than an hour I estimate, Í found myself back home. With no known harm or fear dome to me. It was like a response to my question as to what are the night stars like. There was some missing time that I have no memory yet of. This event has stayed with me as a profound event of my life.
