Phenomenal exchange, Casey and Dave! Thank you for sharing this info. I have to relisten to this again. Dave gave so much info.I wish I would have been able to attend the Vegas gathering. Such great and admirable work Dave is doing. My CAC is zero and I’m a LMHR and am carnivore. Studies like these confirm that I’m healthy.

I have been battling/extreme pain with IBS since 2018, seeing multiple doctors and even trying the Monash regime. After watching multiple videos I started in March a low carb lifestyle. I have reduced 95% of the meds for GI issues after removing all grains and potatoes and of course lost weight. This is life changing, do you understand how wonderful it is to not have to look for a restroom everywhere you go or go to the ER for intense pain. I will not take statins to cure IBS!

Matt Budoff is definitely a low carb guy. He’s does the diet. He stated at CoSci that carbs aren’t healthy and they are inflammatory.

I'm carnivore and quite thin, actually trying to put on muscle mass. I'm your friend Dave, I'll leave it at that.

I coincidentally started my therapeutic diet about a month before losing a cousin "healthy thin jogger" my age 50 to widowmaker. Then about a month later we as a family endured the tragic loss 16yo who had battled and was "treated" for depression, to Suicide.

Any deviation from my meat diet has immediate consequences for me.
I go to my doctor for the first time sinse starting diet this week. I'd like to make sure I'm getting necessary Labs, because I'm assuming he's not up on the current research.
Are there recommendations for everyone? And for those managing mental health, are there any additional ones I should ask for?

In 6 months I shed my visceral fat and am slowly building muscle. I'm off all but 1 psych med undergoing long taper. My BP is now good normal. My bowels and bladder work. I've cut way back on OTC pain meds bc my joint swelling is resolving. I no longer have to rely on a cervical traction collar and weekly chiropractor visits to treat my intense headaches/migraines
My veins are now full and boyant on my arm, so I no longer get poked 5 times for ivs or Labs. My fragile hair, is even stronger.

I'm frankly furious that You Tube is where I found the information I needed instead of all the Mainstream doctors that were poisoning me for years with drugs and disinformation and devastating procedures and surgeries, DESPITE the fact that none were helping me and nobody CARED
