It’s disappointing that we never got to see what happened next to Havik, Empress Tanya, Orin and WW2 Johnny. Also very disappointing that we got WW2 Johnny and Johnny Cage in the same scene but no scenes of them interacting. From the intro dialogues, Havik is still alive because his timeline still exists. If he died his timeline would’ve disappeared as Liu Kang said. He is presumably imprisoned somewhere

Also the mirror matches between Cyrax are between Liu Kang’s timeline one and the Khaos Cyrax we fought in the story, she came to Liu Kang’s timeline to avenge Havik

God the writing on this expansion was bad. A lot of characters were acting plain stupid. A lot of scenes made 0 sense. And the amount of times they said timeline and khaos is wild. This felt less like mortal Kombat and more like a brutal marvel movie. All we need is characters making jokes every two seconds. Also, Bi-Han sometimes just feels like the writers just want to make him evil. He did some really stupid shit in this expansion for no reason other than to be a prick and he somehow beat titan havik that has world ending gems??? That's a bigger asspull than when johnny beating shinock.

Honestly I’m more concerned about Sector than Bi-Han. When Sector was a guy he was more malicious than Bi-Han ever was, and the fact that she’s a girl and is infatuated with Bi-Han makes her twice as potentially dangerous and evil. The only saving grace with the previous Sector was that he was dead. With this one still alive, there’s no telling the needless massacres that will ensue.

Also why bring up Onaga in some of the character intros and not make him a villain. Havik could have used Reiko to get Onaga out of where he’s imprisoned and devastate the Timeline

This feels less like MK and more like a spoof to MK. It feels like what if Austin Powers took itself seriously.
.The overly dramatic dialogue that says nothing and ends up being like a corny Marvel film. Not even Mortal Kombat Anihilation was this awful in dialogue.
. The hand gesturing from the characters that make me feel that im watching a soap opera.
. The fact that you repeat the same fight multiple times agains the same opponents in a single chapter becouse a character you knock down stands back up again or something (becouse in a game called Mortal Kombat, the characters just forget to finish off their enemies).
. Every single fodder bad guy having a mohawk or face paint with mad max clothings becouse apparently there is not a single person in NRS that ever stepped foot in a punk venue in the last 30 years and they still associate punk with anarchy for some reason.
. Every character just repeating the words "anarchy" and "timeline" more times than its actually required, and the dialogue having no structure whatsoever.
. Horrible fight choreographies and horrible plot contrivancies (like how Sektor or Cyrax constantly forget that they have jetpacks and antigrav walk tech constantly, in fact, Cyrax falls into a pit and forgets to use this move completely, or how Havik just left Geras completely unguarded alongside the Kamidogus).
. How, despite Havik having all Kamidogus, gets taken out by Kwai Lyang Noob Saibot without training, and how the Kamidogus are just budget infinity stones.
. The horrible DLC characters that don't have a thematic at all and are all terrible.
. The whole pack costing 50 usd yet having less than 2 hours worth of content (the Metal Gear remaster collection is less than 30 btw, and those are 3 games with 40 hours average each, a collection pack that came out last year).
. The character designs just being awful all around.
. The non existent tension being constantly broken by Jhonny's shitty one liners.
. Liu Kang being worthless during the entire story
How do people keep coming back to this franchise by the way? 2 games in a row of absolute mid at best, bottom of the barrel fighting game at worse. It used to be the fact that MK was a staple in the FGC cuz it just did the most effort content wise, but that was only becouse the FG bar in terms of content outside of competitive was insanely low. Now that stuff like SF6 has shown how big fighting games can be in terms of content, MK is just lagging behind on its only quality.

This is all liu kang fault everything that he has done to the lin kuei making them his slaves telling him what to do and where to go, I was glad that the Lin kuei brought free of liu kang control. You can see what he done to the Lin kuei he turned scorpion, smoke, and cyrax against bi-Han but sektor will always be loyal to him and the Lin Kuei, liu kang should’ve let bi-Han kill havik but instead he stood in bi-Han way and attacked him for no reason geras should’ve capture liu kang because bi-Han didn’t do nothing wrong.
