I saw chị Ngân for the first time in grade 8 when I went over to my friend's house to attend his birthday party, and he told us about his older sister who was an amazing singer. Fast forward to sophomore year in college, I was struggling with my decision to major in Computer Science so I was desparately looking for inspiration and advice. One day, I came across someone named Nina. After doing some research, I connected the dots: Chị Nina is my middle-school friend's sister! Crazy how small the world is!
In this episode, Nina and I talk about relationship, career, and life in general. I often come into a conversation, expecting the adult I'm talking to to have it all figured out, but it's inspiring to see Nina being absolutely honest about her mistakes and admitting what she is still learning. Nina started learning to code at 24 years old, and she is now a software engineer at LinkedIn. She also has her own Youtube channel where she shares tips and insights about working in the tech industry:
