INGREDIENTS:
2 slice pork chops (1 pound)
1 large egg
2 tsp paprika
1 cup all-purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
vegetable oil for frying
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Heat a sufficient amount of canola or vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
2. Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel, and season them generously with salt and pepper on both sides. For a bit of extra flavor, add some paprika.
3. Dip each pork chop in the egg, then coat it with all-purpose flour.
4. Place the seasoned pork chops in the hot skillet. You should hear a satisfying sizzle. Cook them undisturbed for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Avoid moving or flipping them too much, as this will hinder proper browning.
5. Once they're done, remove the chops and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Allow them to rest for 5 minutes before slicing into these perfectly fried pork chops. Enjoy!
