thanks for the video. I water mine every 4 days deepy and they are not growing due to too much moisture. My local garden center here in Southern CA said they are drought tolerant, soak well and let the dirt dry before you water again. So i'm going to water every 7 days to see if they start growing again. (I have clayish soil). You mentioned to wanted to start watering them more so curious how they turn out in 1 year.

Hey these look great! I am in the process of trying to use cuttings from our own privet hedges to grow more. Do they take well when put directly in to the ground? or should I be rooting them before putting them in the ground. Just wondering your thoughts!

That's crazy 5 months, English laurel, takes a few years to get that growth.

for every 1 ft of growth you need to cut back 6 inches, particularly in new plants. Creates a fuller bush and hedge.
