I have been breaking my balls to get the gosh darn frikin' "Opacity:Opacity" thing on the video bar, as seen in EVERY Adobe Premiere tutorial.
It's not there therefor I am rendered useless when it comes to the "fading out" effect (I just got this software, so if anyone could help me thanks, I'm using Adobe Premiere CC v7.0 thanks)

How do you get this on Mac OS X

Here's my reason for using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 at the moment. My copy of Final Cut Pro X has ben displaying a message about setting storage locations in Macintosh HD, and it keeps popping up repeatedly and it's really annoying and drove me crazy enough to switch to Premiere Pro.

Blah, blah, blah. Lots of unnecessary chatter that just lengthens and make your presentation very boring, in-effective and monotonous.

Wow, that's painful to watch. And uninformed, too. Example, the red line means a clip has NOT been rendered; it's green if it's been rendered. He loves to hear himself talk...and talk...and talk. Just demo the darn thing. And he talks more about Final Cut Pro than he does about Premiere.

in 2 seconds flat you know he has no idea what he is talking about.......................... Most movie studios use avid. He is not trained in video production I can tell that much.

Dood - I don't givve a rat's @$$ about final cut or after effects. I'm here for premire pro. I'm 3 and a half minutes in and I haven't seen a screen yet. You don't have to sell me the application. If you want to sell the app, put up a review video - But Geesh...............

Hey the tutorial is great but I have some constructive feedback:  You repeat a lot the words like if you didn't have much more to talk, go straight to what you want to tell us.

To be honest it looks like an improvised video and you start getting tired after you see a person repeating a lot but I am totally sure that you know this program really well and much more content to show us.  Keep it up and try to get this "helpful tips going"

How can I capture video from a mini DV tape to edit on premiere pro? I've been using Pinnicle Studio but I want to use another software to enhance my editing capabilities.

I understand a lot of people may find this tutorial stupid but I went into detail about why I like Adobe Premiere Pro as I went over the basics I hate doing short tutorials that don't go into detail, I will do more tutorials on this program as I got a film coming up that I am working on for film school it is a film that I came up with myself that I scripted.

I'M LISTENING TO MANY TUTORIALS and really maybe as I have just listened so far to the first 3and half minutes maybe best to open the programme and start the tutorial , i'm sure you must know your stuff , but this is a longer intro than most videos , not a criticism , just a bit of advice for further stuff

And yes, it is your mistake or your momma for not teaching to allow people to have conversation without your idiotic comments. start from the beginning...you need to understand that importing the file and setting it up. you skipped this...duh
