Listening during a thunder storm. Fawk yeah!!

He has a good voice but he uses way too much vibrato and sounds like someone is strangling him on every note he sings. Sometimes that can be good as an option but the problem is he does it for the entire length of the song. Secondly, he fails to sound in the least bit convincing. Because he is trying to "pretty" this song up too much when certain parts need to sound more dark and sinister. Not a horrible attempt but this needs some work.

OH MY GOD FROLLO IS ONE OF THE BURN GROUP (with Rich, Regina, JD, etc)

No one's talking about how this Frollo also played Lumiére on Broadway

So we literally went from Heaven Light to Hellfire... Talk about 0-100 haha

Patrick's Singing though is just as powerful as the rest of the cast bcoz this song is glorious (as damning as it is)

I like how he says it's not his fault and have mercy on him while cursing Esmeralda

Ironic that track 13 is Hellfire

this song has been with me through it all

This version is so much different from the movie since he feels more broken like he is gonna tear up at any moment whilst in the movie he is more menancing and threatening

I actually got CHILLS when I realized it was time for Hellfire while watching the play. Normally when I watch the movie, I’m basically counting down until Hellfire happens because it’s the best part of the movie. But with the play, I was so invested from start to finish that I wasn’t thinking about how close we were to Hellfire until Heaven’s Light ended. Then I was just like “oh my god... it’s time.” And Patrick Page knocked it out of the park; he knocked the whole ROLE out of the park!

The perfect song of a villain crossing the point of no return. Frollo’s sin consuming him and turning i to a battle between his faith and desires.

EW!!!!! EEEWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR THE OLDNESS IN THAT GUY'S VOICE!!!!!! if only disney had that in the original version, THEN IT WOULD SEEM GROTESQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and all of the kids wouldv'e cried!!!! XD heck I would've cried!!!! XD XD XD!!!!!!!

I'd love to see this show just as a whole, even though the incredible cinematography they achieved through animation would be hard to beat visually. But I am sure the staging and lighting for this scene in particular would still slap so hard on stage. For the final part, I can totally picture the choir closing in behind him in a semi-circle, the spirits of the saints and martyrs getting ever more threatening to his terrible morals and authority.

Frolo is very misleading in the Disney part. The novel has it as he was technically a good guy in the beginning. And in his own twisted way tried to protect Quozy. But then he met Esmerelda and he changed to madness over her. But Quasimodo was not exactly a sweet innocent man either.
