It’s not AI. (That goes for all “popular AI”). It’s just collecting information (including fake stuff) and present it in a rater poor way that any teacher can identify as crap. Really it can’t produce anything I could ever use. I get answers like “this is very advanced and you have to be well educated and do a lot of research to solve such problems”. Lol! Or merging images to create “fun” emojis.
Nah Intelligence is about soling tricky problems and gaining original insights into something.
If we let this ”intelligence” guide us, then we’re getting dumber.
When I tell it do things like created algorithms for safety procedures on a naval vessel just by presenting it with a blueprint of the vessel—that are better than those a human can accomplish—then there’s value to it. Or I just describe in words how I want to make an app that produces certain (not too complicated) mathematical transformations and presents it in a (not too complicated) specific visual way, and it writes an app that accomplish it.
And unless this happens very soon, people will soon be bored and small businesses who can’t afford multi million $ alternatives, will begin to sigh.
