Someone watchtower-griefed my base because they thought I tried raiding them when it was actually some other clan 😂 I was honestly impressed with the dedication tho, there were around 100-150 watch towers + floor spikes + tcs

Griefing is one of the few tools spiteful solos have to get back at toxic clans sometimes. Though on the flip side it's REALLY really easy for clans to grief smaller groups with their near limitless resources it can be hella toxic. It's not unusual to see full AK kit people raiding wood doors just to despawn the loot and laugh at the person inside so I think often they have it coming when someone places a TC on their doorstep.

Solo here, I usually place tens of landmines around unfavoured bases. I then stand next to one with a bag close by and then farm wood with a rock. They kill me, get blown up, and then I respawn to collect their kit.

One thing ive enjoyed adding to my tc griefs is a small box with a rf pager inside. ill then have that frequency set permanently on so the beeping never stops. the sound emitted is part of game volume so isolating that sound will cause you to lose all game sounds

That radio in griefing TC made my day ..i can't wait to come home from work hahahahah by that time i gotta think what song should i play for them 🤣

dont forget you can get banned because of heli bombing and making people stuck in safezones in most of the servers

I've played way to much rust so I don't usually learn things from rust videos, but the horse eating plants through walls is something I never thought to do. I'm going to have to make use of that sometime. You've earned the like and sub keep it up man.

Now pls thé counterpart of this video : how to prevent all griefs possible on you ! I am very friendly in rust, but if the person is toxic I can be 10 times worse than them. But before being toxic and grief, I want to be sure they can’t do anything back to me :) (Not losing my loot to them is already handled with building strats, only looking for anti grief tips here ^^)

from what I know, you can place a spotlight on a roof with a timer circuit, blinking spotlight surely will annoy them

I agree with everything except the disclaimer at the end. Grief away my primlocked friends. For griefing is the only counter spell that is effective against zergs.

Sprinklers + snow machine is also a nice combo...
Sprinkler will make them wet, and snowmachine can freeze wet people to a slow death...

Completely disagree with rust being unfair.

I feel no remorse making rust life harder for people who deserve it. Griefing clans/large groups/roofcampers is ethical and no one can change my mind. Actions have consequences, even if done in petty ways. Maybe next time some luke-warm IQ player walks out of his front door and sees the metal TC pylons around his base he will think twice before roof camping his solo neighbor.

when you place a grief tc onto an external, always connect it to the original build block. there are ways to reconnect widegap back to the main tc essentially nullifying your grief.
