That is crazy! I remember seeing a report when these were being built. It was in warmer weather and people were already moving in, the gardens were in, and it looked like a lovely place. Well other than the absolute cookie-cutter look. I laughed at the time picturing someone getting drunk and trying to find his way home. I wonder what happened to the people that had already moved in. It looks impossible to live there in the winter. Maybe that is why it failed

this is why construction projects need to be completed in phases and why developers should strive to sell all units or at least enough units to maintain revenue and operations before starting the next phase. it just leads to so many wasted human and material resources and also puts a strain on financial institutions and wastes capital when a developer is given nearly unlimited money to create things without even proving the things they've built will sell. the hundred of millions wasted on this project could've given hundreds of small business owners the money they needed to create sustainable businesses..
