Looking good my friend. I didn’t think it could get anymore awesome but WOW it sure does bro! Great job Big E
ОтветитьThe diesel heater is definitely not efficient, more than half of the heat it produces is blown out of the exhaust, it does not mean that it does not work, but it is just inefficient. In a small room like landy, it will provide as much heat even at low heat so you will sweat like in a sauna. I have one in the workshop so I know well how it works. 🏊♂️
ОтветитьEnvy is a sin, right? 👍😁
Ответитьi do like the roof-top-tent .. but how does Buster cope with it ??
ОтветитьAnother great vid Mr B !
ОтветитьThe Beast! You’re just about ready to go across the pond......✌️👏👏👏👏🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦✌️👏👏👏
ОтветитьThanks for the tour of your Landy. Absolutely loving the set up you have. Best bit for me I think is you are now able to sit inside and make a brew, a meal and chill out in comfort whatever the weather. Overlanding always sounds great fun until the weather turns nasty for a few days, especially in winter. Whilst others in their tents will likely be feeling cold, damp and a bit miserable (even if they don't admit to it) you and Mrs B will have a warm dry place in the vehicle to hang out. A real game changer I'm sure. Next upgrade? chop the Landy's roof and fix the Alu-Cab straight to the vehicle so you can access the upstairs bedroom without even having to get out of the vehicle. Standing headroom in the back of the vehicle once you pop the tent roof. - bonus. Vehicle Diesel heater on and you have a nice warm dry bedroom too.Thats my dream vehicle set up anyway. One day maybe. Keep the great vids coming. Thanks again.
ОтветитьGreat video Dean and that jacket is great, I’ve been looking for a new outdoors jacket that’s not too bulky for ages ! Is there a pocket for your phone in the jacket ?
ОтветитьAnother great video mate, absolutely love the defender but its just too expensive for me these days and the new 2020 "defender" is rubbish. I did have one but it was stolen. I have been using Toyota hilux for a few years now and they are great but not the same. I would love my old defender back. Looking forward to ur new overland chanel and future videos. Atb, hello from rainy scotland 🏴
ОтветитьBeautiful setup Mr. Bushwacker, thats about as comfortable as you could ever want. Love you and Becky's channel's by the way you guys obviously work very hard producing first class videos. Keep em coming
ОтветитьAlways followed your channel and really like you splitting the Overland videos. I’ve subscribed to both. I enjoy seeing you develop your Landy. How long have you had it now and when did you get it? Secondly what mileage has it now? I remember it was quite low when you got it
Keep up the great work it’s enjoyable watching your videos in this tough time
Thanks Charles
Great video, bought a front runner water carrier after watching this and it arrived today. Thanks for the inspiration 😊 👍🏻
ОтветитьThe developments in the landy look great .Couple of questions
Do you miss the over hang cover on the back which you had on the previous tent?
And where do you store all your equipment you had attached to the cage ? Eg fire extinguisher etc
Thanks Charles
I dean great video’ got my Landy fully loaded fit a pipe from the heater to the roof tent, only thing missing is a bushwacker sticker on my shower box. Best wishes dave chubb
ОтветитьBought mrs a heated top for her winter Hungary dog rescue trips i got a mini battery chain saws great vid mate
ОтветитьAwesome Awesome setup like myself can’t wait to get outdoors again you’ve just help me spend all my savings lol nice rig bro . Hope you have plenty of security I’ve been done over so many times . Can you do a review on the heater system once up and running.
Ответитьgreat video auld boy, keep up the good work and sharing
ОтветитьDon’t know if you can answer this or not 🤦🏻♂️🙈, but how much did the Defender cost??😱👍🏼🏴
ОтветитьI was almost expecting to see herds of wilderbeast running across the back of your camp :)
ОтветитьHi Mate, thanks for a good tour. Silly question but how easy would it to get your retriever in the roof top tent. Both in the hard top and your previous fold out tent?
ОтветитьLovely rig 👍 Enjoy
Ответитьlove your truck , its AWESOME, love from Indiana, USA
Ответитьanother great vid Mr. B "!👍
Ответитьhallo guys stay health and safe
ОтветитьI brought the 8kw diesel heater back in April, I still have not fitted it yet, need to build a side unit for it ..
ОтветитьI would be interested to know how having weight up high effects the driving ?
ОтветитьHi great video and looking forward to many more of these informative videos in the future. Love the heated jacket, I will be ordering one when they come back into stock. However, I'm a little bit worried about your side hung water set up, after looking into this it seems that it may be illegal to mount it on the side of your vehicle. You may need to check up on this for yourself before the jam sandwich mob spot it.
ОтветитьI totally get when you say you’re playing around with your Landy & it’s set up… it’s fun playing around with the arrangement & the satisfaction when something works well, is functional & also looks great… & oh the itchy feet to get away lol
Ответитьi didnt see..where do you get your shower water?
ОтветитьWe are all Big Kids, Now you have me rethinking my next Vehicle I was going towards Hummer now I not sure, Thanks for me to rethink it :D
ОтветитьEnjoying your videos I love the idea of the knock together shelf for the cooker etc I think its great that you mix home made stuff with buying made to measure off the shelf stuff as cost can come in that some of us that can't afford all them just dream about getting I have a Defender 90 and just want it as a day van now and again for the family so after taking out the bench seat (same side as your shelf) and leaving the 2 side facing seats opposite you have inspired me to do the same as I we can use the 2 seats for making the brews etc on days out as we have a caravan. I have also now got the TuffTrek pocket organiser on the rear door and using the window grille for hanging on Ikea plastic storage tubs. A big thanks Peter
ОтветитьWe ladies get a bit like that over our machines too, have you met Apollo, my bike, my loyal steed :)
ОтветитьI loved my 110, but had to trade it for an automatic Discovery when I was paralysed. Great set-up!
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьNice videos and reviews 👍🏿Had a Beige TD5 110 ten years ago when was in South Africa , had similar conversations as your landy. The water tank was built inside on the floor, rooftop tent was Hannibal, inside also have single bed, etc, the TD5 air vent is so amazing you can actually open it manully inside cabin while driving 🙂. Change vehicle to land cruiser 76 now
ОтветитьDon"t want to lower the tone but I assume you practice"Leave no Trace" ....what's your Peepee Poopoo regime when Landy camping? Must be difficult at times.
