Sarah. 3 hours from lake placid, small town. Where did you stop ? Also been everywhere you went. Know Skaneateles well. Great memories … slow down…so much in between all these locations.
Ответитьon the US side you have to go to Terrapin point for a great view of the Falls and also 3 sisters island for an insane up close view of the rapids. You can drive onto go island free parking and then walk a short distance over 3 sister island for the view of the rapids and then a short walk towards the Falls to Terrapin point.
ОтветитьAbsolutely love this video! I’m a New Yorker living in Seattle, WA so I’ve been to Canada on this side but I’ve sadly never been to the Niagara Falls/Canada side back home. Guess it’s time to plan a trip for next year.
Ответитьif your still in the area head to Buffalo and visit Canalside and then the Buffalo Marina their is a small tower with a great view of lake Erie and Canada and at Canalside their is a short boardwalk with a carousel and the naval military park
ОтветитьDid you hike Watkins Glen? That's well worth the time. Highly recommended. It's at the south end of Seneca Lake.
Stony Brook State Park should be on your list too. 😎
So cool that Sarah walked to Canada
ОтветитьShould have gone to Watkins Glen
ОтветитьMy wife and i kayak on Canadice lake and Hemlock lake.. there is also a trail right next to the lake that runs the entire length.. very peaceful.. Stonybrook is also a beautiful place to hike.. next year we move to Nevada on 2 acres of land we purchased.. my wife and i have lived in upstate New York our whole lives.. so this is insane for us to do this at our age.. but we need a change.. going off grid.. cant wait!
ОтветитьPlattsburgh NY, Butcher Block Restaurant!! Awesome!!
ОтветитьLetchworth ❤❤
Ответитьwhite mountains are #1 in the east coast but I am too tired to drive from nyc again for a while
ОтветитьI was so glad to hear that you have been in Chile (Patagonia)!! I love your videos, they are very interesting and fun!
Greetings from Chile❤
As a fellow upstater It was nice to see some of the places I have visited and others I have not right in my own backyard! Subscribed.!
Ответитьjews
ОтветитьI always love driving to Letchworth Park. I love the drive by country side and the park itself is so tranquilizng.
Ответитьchildless behavior
ОтветитьAwesome! Letchworth is in my backyard and if you ever make it to the Jell-o gallery it's pretty neat!@
ОтветитьHamden/Mt. Carmel Ct. has the Sleeping Giant, 20 minutes away is West Rock which You can opt to drive up. All of these areas have super views.
ОтветитьThis is your best video yet! The hard work is showing!
ОтветитьWhen you make it to Aspen they too have a gondola to the top of the Ajaxs, ya. Get an all day pass or a 3 day pass and at the top is a restaurant and the view up their is magnificent for sure. Thanks for the video, Sarah.
ОтветитьThis is old video because the leaves are totally down in NY now. I live in CNY
ОтветитьBuy a pair of Shokz headphones ... you can have you music and still hear the world ... I use them when running.
ОтветитьMusic on speaker?? 🤬🤮
ОтветитьBeen watching your journeys I live in Rochester Ny a city not far from letchworth I grew up going there that railroad bridge was re done it’s used to be so sketchy have actually walked onto it for the view of the gorge and foliage you picked the best time of year to visit. You should come to Rochester next theres tons of little niche things to do specifically this time of year
ОтветитьWelcome to canada🎉🎉🎉🎉 awesome eps!
ОтветитьMy parents moved to saranac lake Now I spend about 1/2 my month, sometimes more up here. Was definitely in the same area at the same time 😆 high peaks, upper saranac lake has several campsite you get to by kayak, wild center in tupper lake. Theres tons to do up here (as i am currently back in that area). I have a hard time leaving it everytime.
ОтветитьDid you visit Taughannock Falls...in Tompkins County?
ОтветитьI just went to the Adirondacks in September, but it rained almost the whole time I was there. I drove up Whiteface Mt on the one good day though and it was a gorgeous view!
I used to travel to a lot of small towns in New York for work. Ithaca was my favorite town in the finger lakes region and the Corning Museum of Glass was very interesting.
I had no idea you could speak!!!! Nikki and camper spoke more then you on those videos!!! Plus I see you and I think of the desert for some reason!!!
ОтветитьYou are a sweet gorgeous woman and your vlogs are spectacular. 😊
ОтветитьDid you get a chance to see Watkins Glen?
ОтветитьAwesome video, genuinely enjoyed this as one who has frequented QC trips via upstate NY's Rt.87 - really want to make it a point to explore upstate more versus just passing through all the time!
ОтветитьYou might want to check the weather for Later this week. You might get snowed in.
ОтветитьConsidering the absolute lack of rain we have had, Letchworth looks pretty good.
ОтветитьYou should check out Hocking Hills, Ohio!
ОтветитьOmg I made the top 3 moments 🥹🤍 it was so much fun exploring Portland together. ❤️❤️
ОтветитьI think someone here should be a teacher!!!
ОтветитьMy father was one of the locksmiths for the 1980 olympics. Remember riding over from VT with him to deliver keys, etc.
ОтветитьI hope you got a Beaver Tail when you were in Canada.
ОтветитьYou seem a lot more confident filming these adventures! I'm really happy for you Sarah! Hopefully you'll pass by Montreal! Cheers!🍻
ОтветитьDefinitely a better view of the falls from the Canadian side but I don't like how cheesy and tourist trap'ish the town of Niagara Falls, Ontario is.
ОтветитьLove the videos, but you should know, even on low volume hikers can hear your music many minutes before you see them. They may not say anything, but they're going to consider you disrespectful. Maybe try a single headphone?
ОтветитьSo I live in Central Square, New York just off interstate 81 north of Syracuse and my son goes to the university at Buffalo. You were always more than welcome to stop here. I have spare room and Internet lol would love to have you as a guest! I have always followed Nikki your cousin, and of course you. I have traveled the country and enjoyed every minute of it and would like to do it full-time soon.
ОтветитьI love listening to music but I avoid it when hiking because we have rattlesnakes out in my state got to listen lol
ОтветитьThis was absolutely a stunning video
Ответитьi live in my van too. im in long island new york. I camp by the planet fitness near the roosevelt field mall
ОтветитьLetchworth is 6 miles from my house.
And you are I think the ONLY travel vlogger that has actually gone to the real NY. They all go to the city. Hopefully one of the reaction channels finds you so they can finally understand NY as a state not a city.
