Fall time Grotto is a completely different experience than summer time Grotto. Summer time grotto is wall to wall people even with the required parking pass used to restrict tourist traffic. The short hike from Indian Head over to the Grotto we had to wait in line where again we had to wait to catch even a glimpse of the Grotto while being eaten by the biting flies. It's a beautiful area but be prepared if you're going during tourist season. We enjoyed half way log dump much more. Enjoy your videos and following along with all the familiar places.

I hate s'mores but cheese s'mores have me intrigued. I'm adding those to our campfire routine. I might go with a fig jam though. Or Branston pickle.

Now I'm hungry.

Great season and I'm really happy you've kept up with these park reviews. As Ontario campers, we find the information really valuable. I'm glad to hear that you're planning further north (and west?). Merry Christmas!

Did you have to pay for wood per night? We did when we were there two years ago

Merry Christmas. How many summers do you use the same RV water filter before you purchase a new one?

A new camping with the coles videos is the best way to spend a Saturday morning. Thanks for making such awesome videos, they have been so helpful for me and my gf to choose parks to camp at. You guys are amazing 👏🏻

How happy were we to enjoy coffee with the Coles! The park looks fantastic but I do love my electricity. But a day trip will be in order for those great hikes! Happy Christmas to you and yours.

Great video, great park! Might try to get there again in 2025, bookings open up Feb 3, 2025 at 8am. I am also planning a trip to Wheatley including Point Pelee National Park then the ferry to Pelee Island, there is also a campground on the island, the most Southernly inhabited place in Canada. Met you guys at Rondeau a while back, keep up the good work!

Thanks for another great video. We were last at this park in the days when it was Cypress Provincial Park during our tenting days. Hubby used to dive there all the time. Brings back so many memories. Will have to put this on our list to visit once we do our battery upgrade so we can dry camp. Take care and know that you do a great service. Hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas and we look forward to an awesome 2025 camping season.😊

Good morning on this chilly winter solstice day! Thanks for warming us up with your cheerful and warm smiles! This has been on our list, but we avoided it due to crowds! Seeing this video makes a fall trip definitely doable! Merry Christmas and safe, healthy, and Happy New Year!

Hi there, Coles. I just love your reviews. Now that Jim and I won't be camping until next year, I start rewatching every once and so often just to pine for camping. I think this particular park will be on our list to do next.
Do you have a list of parks that supply wood like this park does?

Watching this video brought back great memories of my time in the area. I belong to a number of camping groups and often recommend your channel to members there. Now that I am getting older, I am doing less back country and more car camping, which I can do at a moments notice. Thank you for helping me narrow my choices. Looking forward to seeing what you have for the off season. All the best.

Fairbank provincial park, next year , heads up if your going to Onaping falls from Fairbank Pp ,and use Google map for quickest route, don't Go, it's logging road and scary because I end up to cross the bridge enough size for my tires like crossing the big I-beam, go back to hwy 17 east and take 144 north towards Onaping and Windy lake PP.. thanks for all the video, loyal subscribers from Mississauga, Shout out to my wife Caroline Trias...

Thanks...

Great video, this is a park I want to go to. I'm a yurt and cabin camper and is definitely on my hit list. Very informative video . I had no idea that firewood was free with your camping fees. The park has upgaded so much since the last time I drove around the campgrounds before Canada 150 which was 2017. It's only a 2 hr drive form my house. As a day user, I've been there many times. Very spectacular at any time of year. If you want to try an advanced kayaking trip, I once set sail on my kayak from Little Cove to the grotto and Indian Head which was also very spectacular. Took longer than i thought, I absolutely love the Bruce Trail up there. Your friend is a end to end hiker, very challenging and I have not done.
Great season, and looking forward to next year videos,

It’s called “singing sands” because the sand squeaks when you walk through it. Did you hear it??

For cell phone service for Telus, Koodo, Bell & Virgin Mobile we found the service to be pretty good for everywhere we went in the campground. No issues making phone calls, texts and watching videos. If you are with another cell service provider or have your own experience with cell service here please leave a comment to help out others.
