That was beautiful - that so many people cared.
Ответитьyou do realize your talking to a guy who misspelled his own username? isn't that kinda redundent?
Ответить@Vetwolf13 i am a former marine and I also have been employed by a pmc. Any resource used to accomplish a/any mission is a tool. Does that mean a "tool/s" cannot be referred to as a hero? I think not.
ОтветитьHow can anyone dislike a video such as this?
ОтветитьIt's probably all the WBC ppl who were pissed that they couldn't protest the funeral. Google [Mississippi town figures out simple, effective way to stop Westboro Baptist Church funeral protest] & click feeling lucky to go to an article to find out how the citizens of this town prevented these low-lifes from protesting the funeral. It's totally hilarious!
Ответитьlol just saw ur comment now. No problem :)
Ответитьwow 3 more dislikes, since i commented 8 months ago...
ОтветитьKeep up the good work Americans!!!! Proud to be an American!!! I don't know why these people are allowed to continue!
ОтветитьThis gives me chills. I think every town needs to take a page from this amazing town's book. If Westboro shows up in your neck of the woods, everyone needs to come together to stop their hate. I salute the men and women who worked to together to make sure Staff Sgt. Rogers received the respect he deserved. And I salute the Staff Sgt. and his family.
Ответить@bushcraftus hey dude what the hell is your problem. my grandpa was a proud airman, and my cousin a proud marine in afghanistan at this very second, yet he speaks no evil towards the "chairforce"! Go to hell, youre just as bad as the WBC
ОтветитьSay what you want about the war. Our men an women and all vets believe in our republic. If you hate the war so be it. Our republic will alway need to be defended by brave young men and women.
Ответитьi was in the big group of people at 1;25 it was sad i knew him
ОтветитьHappy Veterans Day...this video and song make me cry every time. RIP.
ОтветитьGreat video! I loved this song, who did it? Name of the song??
ОтветитьI'm from Germany and I'm not really a fan of wars but sometimes they are necessary. I want to pronounce my deepest respect to you folks and how you treat your most determined human beings who swore under oath to protect you. But after all I want to remember that war should be the last option on the desk. This guys gave their oath to defend the USA. Be careful with this precious promise don't wast it, bring decisions always into question. May Staff Sgt. Jason Rogers rest in peace. Thank you
Ответитьwell put. thank you
ОтветитьAs a member of the military, this gives me strength to know sacrifices are not forgotten. Sleep well brother
ОтветитьFor all the problems that the United States has such as wars targets of terrorists and things like the recent mass shootings. I see this video and it makes me so proud to see your public come out with such strength to honor the fallen that have served them with the giving of their lives. Keep up the good work!
ОтветитьI had the privilege of serving with ssgt rogers, at the time sgt rogers during my first deployment, he was a great marine and an even better person. He rode in my truck that I drove, he found countless IED's that we could've hit, if it wasn't for him and the other group of great engineer marines we had attached to our platoon. He saved countless lives and will always be missed by his loved ones and by the marines he served with. Rest in peace Jason, you are my hero and we all miss you Semper fi
Ответитьthank you for your service to our country Jason, i may not have known you but you will always hold my upmost respect for what you did in life...

ОтветитьI live in Biloxi on Popps Ferry rd. been all over this country and I can tell you there is no place more patriotic then Mississippi. I love MS and when people ask where im from I proudly say Mississippi. I was there holding a flag and saluting a brother and true hero.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьA very sad, sincere Oorah.
ОтветитьOnly god know when heroes it is time for them to stay and protect or die in home
ОтветитьI ment in honer or in happiness
ОтветитьRest in peace SSgt. Rodgers! You are, to this date, an inspiration, and one of the driving forces for me to me an aviator for the USMC! Hooah!
ОтветитьThat is beautiful. I am not an American, I'm German, and most of the time I can only shake my head when hearing about the things going on on the other side of the Ocean. But this here is a prime example of what's good about the United States. People standing together, citizens and policemen working hand in hand to fight off a clearly evil group of hate criminals, just to prevent one fallen soldier from being treated dishonorably. I'm probably easily impressed but this is heartrending.
Ответитьhi, i'm from holland. i love how you americans love your country and your soldiers!!! love how you honor them when they are fallen! this must be a big support for the families!
ОтветитьSemper fi
ОтветитьIm not a marine yet and this touched me rest in peace marine thankyou for fighting for the freedoms we use everyday freedom doesent come free
ОтветитьEven though you are my second cousin and we never really saw each other much, I still looked up to you and thought you were always awesome. When I first met you I remember you introducing me to Snoop Dogg back in like 94' when my family went to go visit ya'll in Mississippi lol. It was great to have known you and to call you family. I'm sure I'll be seeing ya up there with the big guy sooner or later.
ОтветитьOorah!
ОтветитьAt 2:04? They're at parade rest, not hands on the hips. I had to replay it several times to confirm...but you're right, they should have been standing at attention and saluting
ОтветитьDann sagte er zu ihnen, aber jetzt ist er da hat eine Tasche, nehme ihn, ebenso eine Tasche, und er, der keinen hat, der verkaufe seinen Mantel und kaufe ein Schwert Then he said to them, But now he that hath a bag, let him take it, and likewise a scrip: and he that hath none, let him sell his coat, and buy a sword. Kraut, mind your own business. Remember 1938 or do they just skip over the 30's, 40's, and 50's in german history? MS man here, God bless this & all warriors fighting jihadi scum.
ОтветитьTake your religious, political and personal opinion based negativity out of this and other veteran's videos. A man has fallen for his country, and for what he believed in. Whether or not any of you agree with their reasons or the country's reasons, he has fallen and we will never have him back. Show your respect, or leave. People who come onto these videos flaming them for whatever reason are no better than Westboro. Rest in Peace, Jason. You fought well, and earned your place in the cosmos.
ОтветитьI miss you brother, I will never forget all that you did for me, you monte castilo, ski and ortiz will always be brothers to me. Wish you were still here so you could be with your family. I will never forget you, semper fi to a true american hero miss you always jason
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьRegarding the firefighters, keep in mind that this video was from a law enforcement dash cam that was well in front of the hearse. They very well could have come to attention and saluted once the hearse passed. There were probably over a dozen LEO vehicles and around 50 motorcycles in this escort ahead of SSGT Rogers; this was from the airport to the funeral home.

ОтветитьDid he died
ОтветитьI still remember... God Bless this Marines rest.
ОтветитьBrandon, MS, is the kind of place I would like to live in. What a great tribute of its citizens to a fallen son-- what a testimony to the character of Brandon. God bless all of you.
ОтветитьI really don't like the whole 2011 pasted over the 2001. Anyway. Godbless.
ОтветитьStill not forgotten !!!
ОтветитьThe Streets of Heaven are guarded by United States 🇺🇸 Marines!
