Le Polynesien is one of Malta's famed 'heritage wrecks.' Sunk by a torpedo in 1918, she lies in 50-65 metres, just off the eastern coast of Malta.
This is only a short video, but you'll hopefully get one idea - that there is just sooo much to see on this wreck. One dive certainly wasn't enough, so the plan for 2024 is to go back when a chance presents itself.
You'll get to see guns, winches, and a beautiful bow section. At the same time, you'll also see just how much damage one torpedo can do.
I got to dive this wreck as part of the Trimix week at Gozo Technical Diving. If you'd like to dive Le Polynesien, too, get in touch! (And yes, I'm hoping to get a better video in 2024.)
