Another thing I adore about this movie is the casting! All the actors were amazing and played their roles well (that includes the zombies too), but it seems to me that it was incredibly progressive for 1968 with there being not only a colored man being a powerful lead role, but also a powerful woman lead as well! Way ahead of its time in many many ways and I love it!
