Out there
Love the explanations....you're the man, Hank.
ОтветитьSo just because the tornado didn’t do damage and was over open land it lowers its rating but it still has winds that are over 200 mph..which means that it’s a f5..I’m confused, why does the damage matter when it still has the wind speeds that will do the damage if it does do damage eventually.
ОтветитьI don’t care what the “engineers” say. When documented wind speeds are over 200 mph, it’s a EF5 PERIOD. I’ve seen plenty of shortcuts that contractors take first hand, so the damage shouldn’t be the deciding factor on what a tornado is rated at. It could be a contributing factor, but not a deciding one.
ОтветитьBro! I was 20 days old! When that Oklahoma tornado happened
ОтветитьI was in kansas and on my birthday while going to target, and we saw a tornado and the sires hadn't cam off yet so we called the weather station and me and my family got to safety it was in EF.4 I was so scared
😱😱😱😱😱
Congrats Hank have followed you from the start.
ОтветитьSo they learned 1, tornadoes typically have slower top wind speeds than was previously thought because 2, those winds were still fast enough to cause catastrophic damage…
ОтветитьBeen a fan for about 6 yrs now love your vids congrats on your movie and proud to be one of your million friends. Till next time happy trails hank
ОтветитьI mean if a tornado isn't for various reasons clearly visible then it ain't photogenic and won't make the cover of Tornadoes Illustrated. Rain wrapped or just too big to discern, then us lay folk just say huh? So because of El Reno I know I won't be doing any amature storm chasing or wingsuit jumping or Shark Diving or Bison kicking or Grizzly hunting or
ОтветитьThe tornado rating system is deficient to say the least
ОтветитьI think the original fujita scale should go back to its original. Also I don’t think The scale of the tornado should be based on its damage BUT by the wind speed. Call it for what it is. My opinion though

ОтветитьI get edgy when I hear of a hurricane is approaching, I can only imagine the fear of knowing there is a chance of tornado forming in your area, and there really is no way to get to a safe area. I do have a question though, why hasn't the community banned together to build a full scale underground safe area? Sure it's expensive for one person but having everyone pitch in be cheap to build.
ОтветитьWhat I've learned is that tornadoes hate Oklahoma city specifically
ОтветитьHank, you have to look up the mayflower arkansas EF4 from 2014, the damage was litterally unbelivable

ОтветитьIt’s crazy that builders don’t offer basements for their house plans in Texas. At least not in the cities. It seems like a really strange thing to forget about consistently!
Ответить1980
Ответить11 years and counting since the last EF5.
ОтветитьF5…EF5…me personally…I call her the Alpha Twister. She’s not been interested in coming out for a while now, mainly sending her devious right hand second in command (F4, EF4) to do the dirty work, and sending her first lieutenant 3rd in command even more (F3, EF3). She’s the beauty, but also the beast. You get on her bad side, you’d best hope you can get underground, otherwise, you’re gonna die. Also, I think that friendly dog knew the tornado was there and was trying to chase you away…chase you away from the danger…this is why dogs are one of man’s best friends.
Ответитьjust me or is every one else's subtitles auto correcting tornado to burrito?
Ответить1991 Plainfield Tornado was an EF 5 you missed! Ted Fujita said it was the Most Powerful Tornado to ever hit the united states in August!
