Ultimate gada that wont have a single scratch : the price
ОтветитьEvery watch brand is available on the market, but it's impossible to buy a Rolex. What are these guys' intentions? Mafia types, tacky low-class people have Rolexes, but a businessman like me doesn’t—why?
ОтветитьI wish there were either a no-date version or a cyclops lens over that date window. Small date windows, or even standard size date windows, are difficult to read for those with less than perfect vision.
ОтветитьWent into Teddy’s showroom to see the blue teak style and on comparing “in the steel”, I unexpectedly found the black lacquer to be my strong preference. Gorgeous watch.
ОтветитьTEddy let me tell you. this watch doesnt hold up to the quality and the "GADA"'ness of my Citizen Chronomaster AQ4080-52L... am i obsessed with this watch? yes.. is it technically awesome? yes.. magnificently finished? yes.. only thing lacking is the lack of Brand recognition.. but i also admit.. the aqua terra is a KILLER piece! handled it a couple of times.. but would love to own it one day!
ОтветитьSadly Omega is almost same price as Rolex msrp and almost 50% off in the preown market..
Ответитьwhat a beautiful watch!
hopefully I can afford it someday :)
Shhhhh, I'm about to buy one....don't drive the price up on me.
ОтветитьIf only it wasn’t fully polished and the bracelet had micro adjust.
ОтветитьHow the hell did you know Terry. I've been looking at buying this exact watch for the last couple weeks.
ОтветитьGot the Omega Swatch all white (Mission to the Moonphase) -- more accurate, less hassle, costs less and looks much better. Also looks way more cool. Don't agree? Ask young women.
ОтветитьA little more imagination in the bracelet please. Too boring.
ОтветитьI love the red dialed aqua terra
ОтветитьNah the polished links kill its versatility
ОтветитьI own this Aquaterra (41mm) and I absolutely love it! One of the most beautiful and versatile watches out there.
ОтветитьWent to a boutique to narrow down my first luxury piece. At the top of it was the Rolex explorer, and when I saw this and put it on the AT fit and looked better than the explorer (at least for me, don’t come for me explorer fans lol). now deciding which size I’m going with I have a 7in wrist and could play both off luckily. Leaning 41
ОтветитьI agonized over the black lacquer AT and the white dial Speedmaster. While I love the clean look of this watch the all over polish knocked down its “GADA” quotient. Just too much … shine.
ОтветитьIts a beautiful watch that I would love to have in my collection. The next time I trust myself to go to the watch shop I will check it out in the metal.
ОтветитьMy grail watch!🙏🏼
ОтветитьAs it were…I tried this watch on today…gorgeous watch!
ОтветитьBought my black lacquer AT in October 2024 and it is my go-to watch. It's beautiful.
Ответитьin recent months this watch has been growing in me. i've been looking for one for a daily driver, personally I like the blue dial ones.
ОтветитьOh-MEGA ❌ Oh-MAY-guh ✅
ОтветитьI'm waiting for the white-dial variant. This is because I agree with your final point: you really want to choose something that will work with most of what you wear. Well, I'm light-complexioned (white skin, blonde hair, blue eyes), and so I rarely wear dark colors and never black (I have absolutely no black clothing of any sort, darkest things I've got are blue jeans and navy trousers). I wear a lot of white, blue, red, and pastels. White works a lot better for me.
ОтветитьAlthough I think the watch is spot on, I chose the Seamaster 300 Co-Axial (old model) because it has more character, in my opinion.
ОтветитьYes please. That’s just a great looking, understated, elegant watch.
ОтветитьI love the general approach and dimensions etc, particularly for the 38mm, I just don’t like the end of the minute hand.
ОтветитьThe only Omega I’d buy
ОтветитьQuite often less is more! 👍😊
ОтветитьIf they got rid of the outer AR coating I’d consider it.
ОтветитьI had multiple omegas over the years and they all disappointed me big time quality wise. It simply is not what you would expect from a top
Iuxury watch brand.
My next buy from Omega, really a well thought placement, versatil and stunningly beautiful.
ОтветитьWhat about an Aqua Terra with a white lacquer dial?
ОтветитьHold up, that guy’s wrists are my size, and the 41 looked fine. But when I tried even the 38 it looked too big. What gives? I’m jealous! 😂
ОтветитьI just want a no date sport watch with the 8900 movement so I can change the hour hand so easily. I don't care about the date. Also if they could fit it into the 38mm models.
ОтветитьCan’t wait for them to give the 38mm blue teak dial version this bracelet treatment.
ОтветитьIts a beautiful watch, but the date wheel stands out too much. I would be more inclined to buy the older version, although I recognize that the new version has a nicer bracelet.
ОтветитьAT = yawn
ОтветитьJack of all trades, master of none watch imho... and way overfinished, it gets scratched just looking at it.
ОтветитьSorry, but I'd rather spend hundreds on a Chinese watch than on this Swiss watch that's worth thousands. The Miyota movements are regulated to one or two seconds per day, and the polish and brushing are just as good on the Chinese brands. They also have new, innovative designs of their own.
ОтветитьThey need to release a less polished version of the same watch!
ОтветитьI've had this watch in the 41mm variant for almost a year.
What a watch it is, dress up or down it just quietly goes about its business yet somehow seems to get noticed.
Combined with a high quality movement and a lovely bracelet I don't think there is much on the market to compare even close to the price asked.
I'd buy it again in a second.
Could you do a video on silver dial watches ?
ОтветитьA lot would argue the Speedy is a very versatile Omega too.
Wears smaller than its sounds and is also a strap monster.
The lume on the AT needs boosting too, it's sub par.
Come on, that bracelet clasp gap when extended looks horrendous. How can people scoff this off given the price point of this watch?
I have the previous gen AT and wished Omega would release an extendable clasp that would be compatible with my bracelet, but this must be the laziest solution I’ve ever seen. Bleh
While I love this watch, I think it's insane that it's more expensive than the Rolex OP. (at retail)
ОтветитьI was debating between this Aqua Terra and the Rolex Explorer 40. Unfortunately didn’t care for the Aqua Terra as much as I thought I would. Too polished for my liking and the micro adjust system is sub par.
ОтветитьI have the 2500 series in quartz and I keep marvelling at how crazy the value is. This most recent blank lacquer dial is killer though. One of those rare perfect watches.
ОтветитьImprove the clasp and for god sakes slim it down and make it lighter
ОтветитьHard to think of a better daily piece. Exceptional execution of the date window gives it a leg up on the Datejust, OP and Explorer I. Those have better bracelets, however. A future classic for sure.
