I'd add that it's especially important for divers taking these courses to read the manual and know what their dive computer will do if they exceed their NDL. Nobody I hope does it on purpose but you will be diving closer to the limit and it is important to react properly if for whatever reason new, unfamiliar numbers and symbols like TTS, Asc Time or Ceiling appear.
