Miu Miu | The Arcadie Campaign - starring Gigi Hadid

In an exploration of reality and surreality, Miu Miu celebrates its emblematic matelassé in two styles: the iconic Wander and the newly debuted Arcadie, embraced by Gigi Hadid and lensed by Steven Meisel.

Arcadie, steeped in myth since Ancient Greece, embodies an idyllic vista of pleasure, embedded in nature. Miu Miu’s Arcadie bag brings this myth to life in a tangible, fashionable form.

Inspired by American artist Margaret Keane, Meisel reshapes the Miu Miu heroine, evoking Keane’s iconic aesthetic universe. Gigi Hadid embodies this homage, alongside Miu Miu accessories, in uncanny environs captured by Meisel.

The richness of these idealized spaces matches the intricacy of the Miu Miu matelassé. Fusing modern lightness with traditional leather craft, this hallmark material adds texture and depth to the brand.

Gigi Hadid gazes wide-eyed at us in this series of stylized yet intimate and direct portraits alongside striking still-lives, playing both herself and her persona. Through a simple look, she invites us into this world, part imagined, part actualized, yet wholly Miu Miu.
