Blue = law of God
Purple = royality
Scarlet = God’s blood
Blue and scarlet = make purple

The harlot (apostate church) has the same colors = scarlet and purple except they are missing the law of God
And they think to change times and laws
What commandment has to do with time? The fourth commandment-// the one that starts with Remember
The seventh day Sabbath the sabbath of the Lord your God

The apostate church changed people worshipping on God’s holy day to the venerable day of the sun

The mark of the beast is about worship
Worshipping on Sunday instead of on God’s holy day the seventh day Sabbath.

No Biblical authority for the change to Sunday.

we have to discover the purpose for all the list of stuff, my very old Bible says it is Blue Silk, it must be very important to be removed, if people only knew how important it is.

THis is why or how we know the Bible is inspired. Because of all the types we see in the Old Testament that are fulfilled in the person of Jesus. Only a being with comlete knowledge of the future would be able to pass this information on to the writer(s) hundreds of years in advance. Imagine a book comprised by 40 different authors from six countries who were separated by time and distance, and by culture and lanuage yet coming up with a book that is characterized by unity and harmony of thought. You can't do it! But God did!

The bells on the high priest's robe were round (little gold sleigh bells). They found one under the temple mount in Jerusalem.

So the funniest thing just happened to me. As I was reading exodus 28. I was praying to God because a lot of the Old Testament has some boring parts in it. So I was praying to the Holy Spirit to speak to me as I read. And as i was studying I was looking up what these garments may have looked like. As i finished the chapter I found this video. Of my old worship leader giving this message and starting off with how boring it can be but heres why it’s not. Hahaha hope you’re doing well Mike! Remembering the old calvary chapel downey days!

Mike I just found your channel a couple of years ago and I’ve been trying to catch up on as much as I can. As you were talking about the high priests shoulders all I could think was “… and the government shall be upon his shoulder...”

Was there a significance in the 12 Tribes of Israel being on the high priests shoulders? Is there a typology of OT prophecies of the Messiah being seen in other OT passages?

I was watching 1980’s Chuck Noris movie The Cutter, had to pause it and read exodus 28 about the breast plate, finished the movie but now I went down the priestly garments rabbit hole and now I’m here, very interesting stuff, good teaching 👍

Hello,, Most everyone in the lds(mormon) church knows what the Urim and Thummim is. Even young kids do. Why? Its what Joseph smith was given to translate the ancient gold plates which became the book of mormon. J smith gave a full description of it and what it looks like and that it attached to the breast plate. So when christians make fun of the so called magic stones,, spectacles (two stones) smith used to translate the ancient records,,,they are actually making fun of the very tool God gave Moses for the high priest to use inside the holy place within the tabernacle!. Just shows how little people really know and how ignorant they really are of what their own book says.

Oh my goodness, I'm reading the Bible through this year with an app on the U version Bible app and part of my reading. Today was Exodus 28, I've grown up in church my whole life. I've never understood the connection between the things in the Old Testament and Jesus, specifically the garments of the high priest. I just watched this video and literally had tears in my eyes while I'm driving because you brought it to life to me. Thank you!
