How much dedicated wam do I need for this psu?
ОтветитьI'm just wondering who won the PC's
ОтветитьCan someone answer a noob question for me? If I buy a larger than needed power supply, will it always use that much energy? Like, say I buy an (idk) 850 watt, but my computer and graphics card says it only needs 450 watts, will I be wasting all that energy?
ОтветитьWhy did I get an alton brown feeling or bill nye feeling when watching this? Great explanation Greg 🤙🏼
ОтветитьAnd the efficiency is higher on 230v than 110v, the titanium rating at 50% is 96%
ОтветитьHey Greg I have a random question.. if I wanted to sell a used rig that has an old b350m-a Asus with a Ryzen 7 1700 32gb lpx 3000mhz Corsair ram 1tb WD blue m.2 nvme thermaltake 650w 80 plus gold fully modular PSU PNY GTX 1080Ti, 4 nocturnal NF-F12s in a Phanteks p300a what would be a fair price in your opinion?
ОтветитьBothers the crap out of me that all these tech reviewers have cats romping around ruining all those beautiful electronics
ОтветитьJonathan:Ripple is good
ОтветитьI've been so impressed with my Straight Power 11 Gold 650w, I was hoping they had a 750w SFX power supply like Corsair, but sadly they max out at 400w, probably due to noise limitations.
ОтветитьI thought Psu is Psu...
ОтветитьI love your kitty cat 🐈💟
ОтветитьChecked out the price at the link. £370.79 (GBP). That's freaking amazing for 1200 Watts, Titanium efficiency from a top shelf brand.
ОтветитьI use the seasonic prime, which has some of the lowest ripple in the industry.
Ответитьa DPS is a really basis power unit used in most circuit building applications. It's not new. Generally they only apply to the digital screen like you mentioned tho
ОтветитьRespect for "The Wall" album cover and the "ACDC" logo in the beginning
ОтветитьI've got myself a ~$150 SeaSonic Platinium 750w PSU. And i'm more than happy to have choose it. There has been quit a few general electricity shut down for a few fraction of second and my pc always stayed on but all my monitors, internet has shut down. There has only been one micro electric break that has force turn off my pc. It didn't turn off instantly. The system killed itself for safety because there was not enough electricity remaining in the capacitor to stay turned on.
ОтветитьI’ve got an 80+ platinum 850W ROG THOR
ОтветитьReally informative video about what make this power supply digital. Keep it up with the quality content!
ОтветитьProbably should have noted that they sponsored you
ОтветитьDont look at the gimmicky energy rating on the side of a PSU...Go to micro center and physically lift the boxes up....buy the heaviest one, More copper = More better
ОтветитьQuestion is do you really need 1200w?
ОтветитьFreaking Plebs if you mix URU metal you get 100% efficiency. If you sprinkle some uru dust on your white rated power supply it becomes platinum. Jesus these plebs
ОтветитьWonder how many younger people watching this caught the Pink Floyd the Wall and knew what it was.
Ответитьdid anybody else say "FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER" in the Mehdi voice?
ОтветитьThis is a really interesting psu. Is this the best power supply with the lastest technology (such as digital) to buy right now?
Ответитьsorry, when you aren't disclosing that this is a sponsored video anywhere except in the video description, and basically fawning over the product, i really can't stay subscribed, and since be Quiet! sponsored this piece of content, probably had editorial control, and there was no disclosure, i won't be interested in their products any longer, and i won't be following this channel any longer, it's a shame i really liked a lot of the content, but this makes me question your integrity.
ОтветитьI love Greg Videos, he wants to make videos about things, sometimes trivial about PC things. 😅👍
Just watch his why old PC case painted with Beige color. 😅
yea, price is Titanium as well.
ОтветитьAt this point just get a dual system Phanteks PSU
ОтветитьThe cat is like "BORING. My butt is far more interesting. Observe it."
ОтветитьHome of the Kitten Mittens
Ответитьbecause of a cat, I subscribed to you.😁😁😁
ОтветитьI liked the video just for the cat
ОтветитьAnd I'm here with my 100 buck shady 1200w PSU and a 3070 praying that this ticking bomb doesn't decide to fry my pc one day
ОтветитьI want to know is this better than the TX serious from Seasonic?
ОтветитьDoes anyone have this power supply? I've seen a fair amount of reviews saying that upon first boot it's blown up and 6 months later it's just died. Is this normal for high end power supplys or should these units be avoided?
ОтветитьThis video really felt like a commercial.
ОтветитьCould you please tell me the make and model of your eyeglass frames?
ОтветитьWhat if the use of the ports that say drives on the power supply
Ответитьquality control is not that good,24 pin cable on a 1500w version was twisted and i dont plan to put it on my hardware to test it,if they send a new cable ill consider it but i wouldn't suggest it.Try another brand guys.
Ответитьhow is this connected to a MB with 2 of the 8 pin cpu connectors?
Ответитьbe quiet claims on the website, that the dark power series uses tech to reduce unwanted noises from the gpu. i assume that means coilwhine. is this true or just pr talk?
ОтветитьIt's been two years since the release of this PSU but I'm liking it for upgrading mine, is still worth it?, I do have a 13900KS and a 3090 FE. Thanks!
ОтветитьOne other note -it would have been good to show in the graph that unlike other 80 Plus ratings, 80 Plus Titanium also requires 90% efficiency at a 10% load on the power supply. No other 80 Plus rating has a 10% requirement, meaning that Titanium power supplies must run more efficiently under lower loads.
ОтветитьSo my way of doing PSU is throw money at it.. and the ROG THOR 1200W I use seems to not be doing well with my 3090.
Ответитьjust bought the 1600W Pro 13 for my 1% build PC... here is what I have so far, and the best price I was able to get on it.

Doesn't every PSU on earth have digital chips? So a digital power supply is just a PSU that has controllers for more parts of the circuit? I guess that would be theoretically better. At that point you should just look at real testing results or teardowns though
Ответитьhas anyone heard about 3090s struggling with crashes on analogue psu's? ive seen slight chatter about it and am currently trying to fix crashes that seem identical to an OCP trip but without ever maxing my temps
ОтветитьI'm feelin' a dual-RTX 3090 + 3990X system w/ this power supply... whadya think? 😅
Ответить
