Then she goes to school and uses Trachtenberg for some mental maths and her teacher's like, "OMG A GENIUS!!!", when pretty much anyone that can concentrate for a minute can learn Trachtenberg and use it, yes, even 7 year olds that are bright enough. Turns out she actually was a genius anyway, but that bit always stood out to me as a wth moment.

This was a nice movie. Ending is very predictable from the moment you find out the main conflict, but it's really the best way to think about what gifted kids need.

I watched this movie, GIFTED, last night.

I enjoyed the hell of it! I laughed! I cried! I said "WOW!" out loud five times at the "WOW" moment!

I chuckled again today whenever I thought about the school bus incident and the encounter with the teacher outside of school.

I don’t like Chris Ewans, but I sure love the characters he plays and how good he plays them and this one is probably my favorite.

I like how Frank tricks Mary into having breakfast. I swear Frank is smarter than Mary. He tricked Mary into having breakfast, He knew something Mary didn’t and made his point that she belongs to school. What a smart guy.
