Come with us on an unforgettable journey to the Rizal Shrine in Calamba, Laguna—the birthplace of our national hero, Dr. José Rizal! This historical site is a replica of the original bahay na bato where Rizal spent his early years.

Fun fact: Did you know that “Calamba” comes from the words “Kalan” (clay stove) and “Banga” (clay pot)? This name reflects the town’s deep cultural roots, just as the shrine preserves Rizal’s lasting legacy.

Inside the shrine, we’ll explore fascinating exhibits, Rizal family memorabilia, and relics that give us a glimpse into his childhood. We’ll also visit the famous well (Balon) used by his family! Join us as we rediscover history and learn how Rizal’s early life shaped him into the great hero we know today.
