Great shopping trip!
It did hurt my heart that you painted the little Lane cedar chests, though. They're one of my favorite collections. I use them in my sewing room to hold buttons, notions, etc. I still have the one I received from my hometown furniture store when I graduated from high school!

When you go back to the one thrift store that you found the piano rolls…they had 1 or 2 more bags (couldn’t tell) hanging at the bottom just below the first ones you found. I yelled at ya, but you didn’t hear me. 😜 …maybe nobody will want them and they will still be waiting there! 😊

Hi Jamie, if you have trouble hiking with a backpack, try an Ameribag/Healthy Backpack. I had the same problem but these big crossbody bags are amazing although they are a bit expensive so keep your eyes open at the bjns!

Great yard sale. I would love those paddle boards. We live on a lake in South Florida. It's actually a series of small man made lakes all connected. And we kayak in Biscayne Bay. We love the little islands and the Hollover Sandbar. Summer Fun.

the one bag you said was like a smallish diaper bag I would use as a toiletry bag when traveling. I have sensitive skin so I have to bring my own shampoo, hand lotion, and soap so I bring a lot more than just toothpaste and reordrant. I love with quilted cottons like that if you accidently spill something t can be easily washed in the washing machine. the little change purse with a place for ID would be great for traveling as you can wear it inside your clothing so harder for a pickpocket to get to it.

I and all the girls in my graduating class was given one of those small Lane chest by a furniture store that specialized in Lane brand cedar chests when I graduated high school in 1970. Those are vintage. I still have mine. They should be worth a lot more than that bit you paid and I would have never painted them unless the finish had been damaged. Ask your mom about it. Chances are she was given one too as Lane sponsored that all over the US.
