Don't know whether I should comment on Hawkshaw or his steel player. I'll just say they are both legends. Thanks.

This great song was preserved from a 50 year old, live radio broadcast for the Armed Service network. Hawkshaw did a great job on all of his records. It's truly ashamed that the public didn't really recognize him until the release of his chart busting "7-7203". JERRY BYRD is the steel player on this tune as well as many of Hawks' recordings.

Baby Moz what library are you talking about? In the early fifties I played with two groups on AFN, 100,000 watt AM station in Munich, Germany which I assume was broadcast all over Germany and could probably be picked up in other countries. I would love to hear some of this early stuff we did. I started out as a lousy steel guitar player and went down hill from there.
