I fell off my horse in a pretty deep and soft arena and I was wearing a helmet, I only sustained a concussion thank God!!❤❤❤
ОтветитьI’m thinking about heroes and heroines in romance novels I’ve read galloping at full speed for some dramatic reason or another on Arabian horses. 😂❤
ОтветитьI grew up on and around ranches all my life in colorado, we never wore helmets, is this a politicaly correct thing, people, are so soft these days. Our horses stay outside all winter, we dont' put shoes on them, do not use bits, just a headstall. We ride in the mountains moving cows 9 months every year, our horses are healthy, smart, strong. Is this event a city slicker thing.
ОтветитьYou didn't say where your team placed?!?!?! My first was a 1/2 Arab mutt and my 2nd was a 1/2 Arab 1/2 Appy cross. Cannot beat an Arab for a long ride of any kind. They will always hold up well.
ОтветитьI had an Arab Saddle Bred cross that a friend of mine and a Quarter Horse lover trained my horse. When it came deer hunting time, he asked to use my horse, because she kept going when his Quarter Horses would stop—out of gas!
ОтветитьIf she's 1/2 Arab 1/2 Saddlebred she's a National Show Horse! My first horse was a 4 year old NSH Bay Filly. lol. She taught me so much, mainly how to have a good seat! She didn't have a stop button and would go go go go and then go! She could sidepass faster than most horses could trot. And she "floated" side to side, Lord what a fun horse she was
ОтветитьWhat a fab day, lovely weather, glorious scenery and a beautiful horse to ride. She was loving it. I often think horses enjoy a good view and lovely scenery too. Maybe it stirs something in their soul with dreams of running free and going where they please with the herd. So glad you were offered a ride and didn't miss the day, and thanks for taking us along too.
ОтветитьI once owned a sweet Standardbred mare that I raised from a weanling. She could make some 'far-apart tracks" at the trot, and the rest of the herd she lived with needed to run in order to keep up with her! It was always my dream to breed her to an Arabian stud, figuring her speed and that ability to really move at the trot, along with the Arabian heart and go-all-day drive would have produced a wonderful stamina-trail prospect. Unfortunately, life took me in another direction and I never got to achieve that dream. 🙁
ОтветитьLooks like you were having fun! Thank you for sharing your ride. You must have felt like a teenager again! So happy you took your helmet to avoid a head injury! Scout appears to be a little frisky! So happy for you to get away and have fun!😊😊❤❤
ОтветитьI love a horse with a good engine and a great mind. Scout was the whole package!
ОтветитьYou should only work out a horse for 30 minutes no more because they get bored and also if you over work them their muscles and body is hurting as if you over worked yourself your body would be in pain muscles etc so think about overworking horses amen
Ответить❤❤❤ I wish I was there with you
ОтветитьLooks like you and the horses had a great time. That's great! Every rider needs times like this. Glad you stayed safe.
ОтветитьThis ride took me back to riding my Appy-thorougbred across the open spaces of Eastern Washington years ago. I haven't ridden Arabians, but they sound similar to my Misty in that she loved to run really fast and had the stamina to go all day. I trained her and rode her everywhere I could, so we had a really great connection. Misty was really tall, too--about 17 hands. We towered over my friends' quarter horses. Thank you for sharing this lovely ride with us!
ОтветитьAll that open space, awesome. The horses behaving so well in that open space….. love it
ОтветитьThat looked amazing, so kind of Scouts owner to lend her to you.
Unfortunately those kind of rides don't exist where I live. My gelding warms up the first 30 minutes and then complains if we do less than 7 miles. He's really happy whenever I find time to do more than 10 miles...
wow that was amazing in the UK we do something similar called a fun ride , where the farmers allow us to go onto their land, sometimes jumps are put up for you to have a go at. its not timed and the rides can range from 2 miles 5 miles 10 miles with a stop round half way for a cold drink and a biscuit. lovely watching .
ОтветитьScout is an Arabian/Saddlebred. Otherwise known as the National Show Horse.
Ответитьi would love to see a arabian frind for ziggy.
ОтветитьGreat fun video and fun to see areas where I once lived and ranched!
ОтветитьEvery Arabian I have ever come across can’t stand still. They are fidgety🍀🇺🇸
ОтветитьThe go pro footage was a nice touch.
ОтветитьThat was fun! Thanks so much for bringing me along.
ОтветитьWhy not train Scarlet to be your go to horse. You have started her training so she could be great.
ОтветитьScout might be a good barrel or a gymkhana horse she looks like she is smart

ОтветитьI love hearing the sound of the saddle, it brings back the smell of the horse and leather together its wonderful.
ОтветитьThis was so much fun to watch. Thank you for bringing us along
ОтветитьI was always afraid my horse would step in a hole. Sitting on the couch I found myself wanting to hold the horse back! LOL Some things never change. Thank you for taking us with you!
ОтветитьSo happy to hear you with friends . And what a beautiful scout
ОтветитьI will take that Buckskin any day!
ОтветитьYou should definitely invest in a good endurance horse for yourself. It was amazing going on such a huge trail ride with you and your friends. I'd definitely watch more videos like this
ОтветитьDakota's human 😂
ОтветитьOh, CC, how much fun can anyone have. I loved the ride. I felt as though I was there with you and Scout. Thanks for sharing your beautiful day. I am so happy to see you enjoying yourself. Good for you. Namaste' and love from Humboldt County, California.
Ответить🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
ОтветитьSo interesting riding with you.
ОтветитьHaving owned an appaloosa, 2 quarter horses, and an Arabian. The Arab, an 18 year old endurance horse when I got her, was the best. She was always ready to go anytime and up for going anywhere. Get Ziggy in shape and keep him for your riding horse!
ОтветитьWhat an awesome day thanks for taking us along, good job Scout!
ОтветитьHi! Loved the video!
Re: you mount being Arabian/Saddlebred vs. Standardbred. My cousin was an owner/driver of Standardbreds which are trotters and pacers, so I think your ride might be part Saddlebred.
Whatever, great horse.
Well done.
💚💚💚
Fabulous. Thank you!
ОтветитьVery nice😊Thank you, CC, Scout & friends 🐴🐎🐴🐎🐴
Ответитьi love at the end where the camera guy says, let's gallop, i'll follow you....and then he takes off! LOL. this was so fun...even though i missed 'our' horses . i liked hearing you say maybe it's time to be a little selfish and work with your horses!! they'd LOVE IT!!
ОтветитьThis was a beautiful ride! Lovely mare and I am happy you could make this trip!
ОтветитьHow cool!
ОтветитьI had to google ask the meaning of ‘Buddy sour’. Turned out it’s opposite in meaning to what I thought 😂 l thought it would mean that a horse didn’t like or want to be with another horse/horses
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤😂
ОтветитьThank you for making it seem like we were riding along with you, seeing the awesome scenery. It was delightful!
ОтветитьEventually when you let yourself have help, you’ll be able to do more rides like that!??
Beautiful sunrise, beautiful horses, beautiful day! Loving the squeak of the leather, and Scout’s athleticism.
Pretty out there!
Drinks the Wind-how beautiful!❤ Girl, get your sweet self a horse you can ride without worry, your spirit needs that!
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful place. It’s absolutely breathtaking.
