The goal of climbing is to feel cool rather than to climb hard
ОтветитьTypo in the thumbnail? It says gmy instead of gym.
Ответитьspeedwalls are a waste of space
ОтветитьAlthough I haven't been to many gyms (only climbing for 2 years or so) my local, The Climbing Unit in Derby, is ideal. Bias aside.
It's clean and welcoming, not clinical or grimy. A nice variety of problems. Small warmup/training area. Friendly staff. Good food and drinks. Super chill atmosphere with fellow climbers. I couldn't ask for much more than that ✌️
I guess the ideal climbing wall wold have a bit (or a lot) of everything, lead, toprope, bouldering, and a fitness area, with weights, all sorts of boards, rings and stuff, and of course a café/bistro. Luckily my local wall has all that now they reopened after the original (once one of the first ever climbing gyms in germany) burned down a few years ago. Of course it's not as big as some of those supermegagyms you've visited, but i don't want to have to walk for 15 minutes from one area to the next anyway. :)
ОтветитьGMY
ОтветитьPerfect GMY?
ОтветитьFor me the most important is to have weaky new routs/boulders, and they have to be seted as well.
Ответитьtop rope machines so a solo person can get a quick workout.
Ответитьold underground gym all the way
ОтветитьBig, clean, good routesetters and lots of boulders. That's what I want.
ОтветитьAh yes, nothing like climbing at the old gmy
ОтветитьA lot of boulders in all styles and a spray wall
ОтветитьThe one in your neighborhood.
Ответитьspray wall, spray wall, spray wall
