Hot Toys ROTJ Darth Vader Released! Do we care?

🔥 HT Like many out there Would Like NEW Rouge One figure's With Rolling eye's function Jyn Erso Jeda city version, And much Needed Cassian Andor Eadu version with Rolling eye balls Jacket Hat Etc

I'm an OT guy myself and with Vader being my favorite character in just about anything, this was a easy pre-order for me. I love the Sebastian Shaw sculpt and will probably display him either that way or with the "Emperor's Wrath" effect. I own the ESB and just because the OW series Vader and this one will line up really nice with them. What kills me is being in the 501st I spot inaccuracies with some of the costumes so it tends to bug me a little more than it would most anyone else but I look past it overall as these Hot Toys releases have been good for the most part.

Besides Joker, probably the greatest and most well known villain of all time. I think 1 is fine if truly you know your definitive, but 3 is perfect. Half broken helmet (either Obi Wan or new Battle Damaged, no helmet (ROTJ), and then whatever one you feel is best and most menacing helmeted. If someone wanted to do a bonus and have him getting electrocuted as well, they wouldn’t be wrong! All make for a well rounded display.

I hear ya Bro...My Vader has been none from Hot Toys it's actually the Iron Studios Legacy 1/4 Statue...thats been Moded to USB. I don't have to worry about Batteries, Flaking and for me Bigger is Better...but all of these have their place but next year there will be another and another. Darth Vader will always be an easy Sell though and if you need every Vader then Congrats 👏

This is a must have. OT fan and I have the ESB Vader even though I picked it up used its still an amazing figure. Agree with you that it's been overkill with all the different Vaders dropping in the last year or so, but this just looks stunning. Great vid, love your channel.

Honestly - Im happy with the Deluxe Obi Wan Kenobi Vader, you can display it pristine or battle-damaged and I consider the cracked helmet a more sinister looking Vader under the suit.

Thinking I'm going to cancel mine.

This is a must-have for any Star Wars collector. This is definitely coming home along with the Darth Vader battle-damaged version that was recently announced.

My thought it when it comes to my favorite character or an emotional attachment to a character, there is no limit. Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Magneto are my favorites so I’m all in if I like the sculpt. I have ESB Vader, OBI Vader, this preordered as well as the upcoming battle damage. If you can afford it and have room, who cares what someone thinks. Always collect responsibly and what you like. Most times the only once’s who cares about your collection are online. Most family and friends locally care less. I think this version is amazing being an OT fan first and foremost. Truth be told, if they announce a 50th anniversary Vader for ANH I more than likely will get it too…..

I really like the deluxe version with the blue shock helmet but I still think I'm going to try to get the Kenobi Vader. The cracked skull looks more menacing. It's the perfect mix between a clean and evil look. This Vader I only see myself posing with the blue shock helmet

There's too many Vaders! A New Hope, Empire, Jedi, Rogue One, Obi Wan, the new battle damaged one. UGH.

I was able to get a waitlist reservation for this, and I'm keeping it.

Always hated the look of this Sebastian Shaw's Vader

Held out buying a Vader for this one. Always knew at some point they'd get to ROTJ. This is all I'll need. Also held off buying a Deadpool and Wolverine cause I also knew one day Ryan would convince Hugh, and Hugh would change his mind for that team up film.

this has to be the ultimate vader, for those who's grow up or born in 70's and 80's original star wars trilogy are always on top of chart, and i'm plan on getting it

It’s a great looking figure. I feel that the older fans will gravitate to this release, while the younger prequel fans will gravitate more to the battle damaged version.

Without a doubt this is the Vader that you should have in your collection. I passed on all the previous Vaders because I knew HT would save this one for last.

The more choice, the better. I am really happy they did a proper battle damaged Vader with Hayden's likeness but I'm sure it's not everyone's favorite version of Vader.

I already have this ROTJ Vader paid off, this will complete my original trilogy of Darth Vaders 👍. The head sculpt looks like my 1/4 Hot Toys Darth Vader.

I got 2 Deluxe and Regular version. Got 2 Obi-Wan Kenobi Vader and ESB. I expect Revenge of the Sith Vader and Darkside Anakin 2.0

An underrated figure is the old Sideshow deluxe ROTJ Vader. The suit isn’t the best, but the unmasked sculpt still holds up in my opinion.

Keeping a 3 of them. All 3 tell a different story. Now......I am all done with Vader. The 3 will serve me fine for many of many years.

Mine coming soon from Sideshow, I also pre ordered damage Vader to put them side by side , prime and old Vader....

Not gonna lie... I'm dying to get my hands on this particular Vader. ROTJ Vader is one of my favorite versions of Vader. Personally, I plan to pick up every different version of Vader. He's one of my all-time favorite characters. I currently have every version of Darth Vader except the Rogue One version. I grabbed the Tarkin Vader 2-pack, thinking that they were the same figure. by the time I figured out the differences between the two, the RO version was going for crazy prices.

I have the ESB Vader and I have the Bespin Luke to pair with it. I recently was able to preorder this one and I plan to pair it with my Mando Jedi Luke. Still considering the Battle Damaged version.

I'm planning on getting this, but I already have the New Hope and Empire Vader figures, so I was thinking of letting one of those go.

We can never go wrong with a lot of Vader’s bro especially if there all pose & look different I mean a lot of us have different versions of Batman or spider man so it’s a must pick up

I'm not familiar with this actor, the only one I know is Hayden Christensen. But hey all of the Vaders are made out of pleather, so I guess whichever you get will
disintegrate.

I have ANH and ESB Vaders and Sideshow's ROTJ which I will sell on for this one. Then I'll have all 3 Vaders from each OT movie. Skipped the R1 and Obi Wan versions and probably will skip the battle damaged one. Lack of space.

I didn’t expect it to release this early in the 6 month gap of its expected release time. I expected it to release in October or November.

I got this one coming, OT beats any other Star Wars stuff, didn't get the Kenobi one, canceled that one. And got that new battle damaged one because it's awesome. But this guy is coming home for the ROTJ display.

The only Vader worth adding to my collection. I super passed on Disney Plus Kenobi Vader, thoughts and prayers for those who got that one.

Have only been collecting Hot Toys for a year. This will be my second Vader (after the OWK version) and I'm excited about getting this one since I'm an old Original Trilogy fan. Sadly, I couldn't justify the new battle-damaged Vader since I've already got two. But I might buy another in the future if they offer a leather or nylon suit and a brighter lightsaber.

Already have the ROTJ paid off and it will be my first Vader. I think it looks incredible. I like the new battle damaged Vader but would rather have the ROTJ one, so I passed on it. Have 14 preorders already and this economy sucks right now, so I need to be selective.

Sebastian Shaw sculpt is incredible. Coming home 👍
