I think the way they lie to people is wrong but people need to realize that a degree isn't magic. You still need to work at getting a job and have a good personality and experience.
ОтветитьIs UOP accredited or not? I'm hearing both?
ОтветитьThat’s why I went to Austin Community College took me 3 years. Got a job with my associates. Saved. Got some scholarships. Transferred to University of Texas. Took a class here and there. And after 7 years have a masters.
Ответитьcan't trust a school with a 100% acceptance rate.
ОтветитьUniversity of Phoenix is a Great College ~ no college is Perfect. I pray that God Almighty, will bless the college.... I'm a very Proud University of Phoenix ~Alumni.
Ответитьnow am confused. my classes were about 2k each, i needed 12 of them for my degree. how many were needed for those degrees they are talking about? or did UOP raise prices? in my case, company paid, i was nearly fully reimbursed.
ОтветитьToilet tissue degree
Ответитьin america. everything is a scam or its too good to be true.
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьGrand Canyon University is the same way. Their Psychology degrees are worthless and they just want the government money.
All University's that receive govt dollars should be non profit only!
but that is every school and university, ever met everrest, corithian, texas schol of business, sanford etc, HBCU etc.
ОтветитьI do not believe any of this, its a lie-------he should be fired, this is a lie
Ответитьok, so that's only military and Black students, thats their problem get smart
ОтветитьAny university is FOR PROFIT! If this were not the case... ALL EDUCATION WOULD BE FREE. Period.
ОтветитьFor people who do not know, you can go to a community college in your state (they accept almost everyone) spend two or three years there and transfer to a state college or colleges such as UCLA or USC. People at my community college have even transferred to IVY schools such as, Stanford and Columbia. You do not have to go to these trash for profit schools, know that you have OPTIONS!
ОтветитьThe university offers a quality education despite their recruiting practices, and it is unfortunate that so many cannot make it. This practice is common at many universities, including some of the top university graduate schools, which also take more students than they intend to keep, along with high tuition rates. It is true that there were students admitted to the graduate programs that were likely to fail since the graduate programs are rigorous and require discipline to meet the requirements to pass. I have taken university courses elsewhere that were less rigorous, less effort at more renowned schools. Perhaps more students woudl pass at the undergraduate level if the courses were easier - more like community college courses? What I did not like is that I had to carry team members who were not capable in order for me to get an A on joint projects. What I liked about the programs are the recruited faculty, at least for the graduate degrees. The instructors were high-level and experienced experts with degrees specific to the course being taught, and with ten or more years practicing in their fields. The degree is not just some university with one or two professors trying to add a specialty to get more students to come to the university. The instructors were not limited to people with limited practical applied experience or research, and outdated knowledge as can be the case at other institutions (for profit or not). Also, the opportunity to do substantial research in the Apollo library due to the library's subscription to many other sources of specialty and research documents, when developing papers provided an excellent opportunity to acquire more advanced knowledge in the area being pursued.
ОтветитьThey are scamming me right now which led to me looking for reviews and I found this. I am so glad Its time to leave this school they have stolen thousands from my employment grants and my student loans.
ОтветитьChecks out. Snitch
ОтветитьPeople fall for cash cow schools? 😂
ОтветитьThis online school is a scam. Most of their degrees are not even accepted by major corporations for employment. Like their psychology degree. You cant be a licensed psychologist if you pursue their PHD in it because it's not accredited. Complete scam.
Ответитьno degree, making six figures trading in the stock market. I live the life ppl would die for without ever stepping in a college, college is the biggest scam on earth
ОтветитьDefaulted loans ought to tell you something
ОтветитьWell guess I won’t be going there!
ОтветитьThis video is very misleading. I attended University of Phoenix and had an excellent experience there. University of Phoenix is very hard and the education is top quality. The people who say negative things about the school are the people who couldn’t make it at the school. They dropped out. They thought that it would be easy. Arthur Green, the so called “whistleblower” is angry that he got fired from University of Phoenix and is retaliating against the school.
Ответить$70,000.00 debt to University of Phoenix. I couldn't even go back due they took my check for two years. My junior I finally get a check from department of education. My senior I didn't do because University of Phoenix said I had to pay. My last year. I couldn't afford $1000.00 for each class than they said lower it to $500. 00 per each class. I'm a security officer. That moe than my income. I told most college do federal grants for four years than once you graduate you start to pay. I don't know what they did with money for first two years. I would like to finish my degree. Try go to different college. They only except 90 credit. I have 160 credit at University of Phoenix. That was a waste of time. I did learn a lot when you online basically teaching yourself. My junior year no class room all online. I felt like I was scam I will never to pay $70,000.00 off.
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, I purposely went into debt here just to talk about my experience with Phoenix hehe
ОтветитьI actually like U of P
ОтветитьI am just here to read the comments...
ОтветитьIts business. You either can read or not.
ОтветитьThis is a bullshit report.
ОтветитьHe needs to learn how to tie a tie
ОтветитьI completed doctoral courses at Phoenix University... Strangely my dissertation chairman was absent in a REQUIRED eight weeks Proposal course... And with other neglectful acts from the school, my doctoral dream is shattered...
ОтветитьI was thinkin of going here for medical billing and coding but this sounds so bad definitely not going here anymore . Anyone know of a good school for that major ? And online classes ??????
ОтветитьMy BIL got a higher degree from this school but no one ever took it seriously because even at that time 16 years ago, the school didn’t have a great reputation. He was surrounded by good schools in his home state but I bet he never tried applying to them. Now I know why.
ОтветитьNumber 11 in the Bible means "chaos and disorder"...so i personally would have to be extremely wary about going to any school named PheoNIX and with such an ad/commercial, but that's just me of course.
ОтветитьUoP is the worst...!
ОтветитьIt's a sales job. Most schools are this way
ОтветитьThey all work for blm
ОтветитьThey scammed me and I’m still paying for it and Apollo Group. I ended up going back to school in North Carolina and had to retake my classes in order to get my official Bachelor of Arts degree which I will be taking them off of my resume now that it’s completely worthless. Maybe I should sue UOP/Apollo Group for damages? Hmm 🤔. I’m going back to another state school to get my MBA in 2025 luckily it will only take a year.
ОтветитьThank god my loan is at 0 balance never trust this school 🏫
ОтветитьDon't agree with the majority of the comments. Such universities are designed to give a chance to adults with families and already established careers to push themselves up by earning a degree. Another category is people who aren't good at solving academic tasks( in no way would I call them stupid). In addition to that, a plenty of people live in remote areas and can't attend universities physically. These types of schools do have the right to exist.
ОтветитьUoP is the worst! I went there for about a year. In the beginning, they give you a list of classes you need to take in order to earn a degree. Later, they will sneak a bunch of other classes you also need to take onto your curriculum. These extra classes are almost the same in numbers as the original list they gave me. So, let's say they said I would have to spend $20k in total to earn a degree. After they get finished sneaking the extra classes in, I would've ended up paying close to $40k if not more. When I and a bunch of other students complained and pointed out the difference we would now have to pay, they just said, "Well, the classes were added to your online schedule, so it was up to you to notice them at the time they were added. Why don't you try to CLEP out of them?" I cut my losses at $10k because who knew if they weren't going to continue to add classes to the point where I would wind up paying $50k. It's a racket and a rip-off!
ОтветитьI love them. For my associates from them. Getting bachelor's from wgu and already have no problem getting contract work so idk what these people are talking about. Maybe im old school where we actually had to sell ourselves to get good work, not just scroll through an algorithm or something
ОтветитьThey are still withholding student loans from students. They have changed my husband’s release date three times and every time they do, they lower his amount he gets. He is leaving the college and has spoken to other schools who have said a ton of students are leaving University of Phoenix for the same reason. It’s another ITT Tech scam. Stay far away from this collage. My husband will never see his student loan. Bet the recruiters are.
ОтветитьGuess I ain’t going 😭😭😭 l will stay at my community college lmao
ОтветитьCoconut head Flaxen Saxon'
ОтветитьI was about to start at this school for my bachelors in Business😢Now I’m not sure I should!
