ऐसे वृहत निर्माण पिछले सत्तर सालों से हमारे बस कि नहीं थी | बस निर्माण का व्यवसाय एक ज्यादा से ज्यादा धन कमाने का जरिया मात्र रहा था | जिसे ठेकेदारी कि संज्ञा डी जाती है | और ठेकेदारी का मतलब एक आम आदमी से भी पूछा जा सकता है | इस देश में निर्माण कार्य को चुनौती के रूप मेंकभी देखा नहीं जाता रहा है | ऐसे कार्यों को देखकर अब हमें एक संतोष का अनुभव होता है | लेकिन आज भी हमें विशेष प्रकार के क्रेन ही नहीं बहुत सारे उपकरण विदेशों से आयात करने पड़ते हैं |

After successful completion of Kokan Railway Indian Railway and Central Government could think of connecting hilly parts by Railway. The Kokan Railway came to reality because of non Congress government. Congress government did not put efforts to connect entire India by rail. Look at the rail connectivity in North East, Char dham connectivity. It will force local governments to provide road connectivity. This will increase the business may be small in nature in the beginning around these stations.
