Is it only me or is it super scary when testing big craft for your first time, so much effort and work away to be put to the test... Nice work with the hull btw I like that your transitioning away from Canoe's, I can only imagine how much internal space you have to work with compared with before.

Ballast tanks also increase the lifespan of the torpedo and are huge fuel (or HE) storage. That said if you want to make a torpedo interceptor yeah APN is adequate on a 2 block medium interceptor or 1 block light interceptor

I tried to build a battleship that could bear every craft in the game. Ended up building something twice the cost of the Meg that could take two Megs or two Sings at a time. Not sure if that’s an accomplishment, since one big ship has a major advantage in protection over two smaller ships, but I’m happy all the same. I’m still trying to decorate the thing, and I also still lack torpedo defense, which is a problem.

Seems to ne that the Bigasaurus greatest weakness is its turning. For the most part you could only bring one of the main cannons to bear, effectively cutting the ships FP in half.
Also i reckon strong enough pendepth aps could really mess with this ship as it uses barely any HA, not even on the main turrets, if i saw that correctly.

Also kinda funny that you managed to build a ship that is weaker to crams than to the megs guns. But it comes to no surprise (i say after watching the battles, lol) as crams main weakness are hitting manouverable stuff. Also i feel that some doomcrams have really saturated dmg in their aoe, so they only really care about (stacked) HA. No matter what armour sheme you use (poles, slopes, or stacked beams), super high HE or FRAG dmg will destroy anything in its aoe.

I also thing that the bigasaurus would benefit heavily from more active defenses (Maybe some missile interceptors) to to soften up those deadly cram volleys.

Don't get me wrong tho, i am not shitting on your ship, i mean it defeated meg from accounting.

I think having 6 of the komodo crams would really help the bigasaurus. It's got big guns but just not enough of them to really matter. To me a good minimum main guns is 3-4 guns. 2 is just not enough to make a diff. ='(

Also why not call it the thunder lizard?

Always fun to see your builds slug it out. I'm still using your old Stalslang mkii with with triple crams, did you (or will you) share the updated one? I think it's interesting that the Stalslang's missiles (bow) always seem to be the last thing targetted. It's a good ship to test against, as it hits hard and can take a beating. A Cramasaurus would be fun.

I think that one of the main reasons it took so long to kill the Bigosaurus is that a lot of the damage output from the Staalslang is in those nice frag Creams. Once the Bigosaurus got damaged enough, it started to have more holes than ship, so the frags often didn't get to use most of their damage and just flew off into the ocean.

My suggestion is to try and make your ship more accurate. The amount of shots that missed against the Meg was painful to watch.

you clearly need to add some he to your doom cramm (20% he 80¨% frag maybe ) when they they can do a lot of damage and work well with frag. frag clear the way and sink think and the he kill every thing at range

Wow, yeah. I guess when you're using up 100~ish mats per second and the Mega Dom is using up 1000~ish, sooner or later there comes a point where your win condition is just to survive and still be shooting at the end. Not to diminish the accomplishment, because that is no easy win condition to meet by any standard! Eating up the entire materials storage of that monster and still floating... just wow.
