Love this skins and design, but the game still sucks tho

The sexy characters are cool but I like KR devs because I they do combat and gameplay second to none. I could do without a lot of the goofiness and giggling they love.

The grind in TFD is just as ridiculous as the monetization. I spent 3 weeks trying to get one piercing light copy, after that I stopped playing as much. Too much time sink, very little reward.

Yes Elly, as a BDO player i'am sure you can compare approach to shop in those 2 games and see that TFD actually much better in that regard. Nobody gives BDO shit about that tho. There are no in-game ads about shop in TFD, nothing apart from cosmetic skins is locked behind shop, there are no subscription like services that offer unique functionality and buff, meanwhile in BDO there are 3(!!!) fucking sub like services and ads about shop in pop up quiet often and a lot of game functionality locked behind those paid services. None of that in TFD and prices are otherwise comparable. I'am not defending TFD's monetization, i don't like it either, but fair is fair and this is context, important to understand.

The taste of massive profits is the perfect antidote against woke, if other companies followed The First Descendant's example when it comes to female aesthetics and fan service, they'd never go back to pandering again due to the influx of $$$.

After I got my starter Viessa to 40, I bought her Ultimate version. Only one I bought.
I also have Ult Bunny and Ult Valby, just got those free by playing the game and minimum grinding needed.
This game is fun and for a FTP, pretty decent imo!

I love monetization, especially the ability to buy or do it for free. It's great. I wish all games did that. It is a bit Pricey. but if you want to spend it, why not?

It takes a lot to grind for Ult Bunny, I took more than a week playing, but after you max out bunny everything else gets easier, got Ult Gley and Ult Lepic same weekend, Ult Viessa the next weekend, got Enzo don't know how I wasn't even farming for him...

Ive gotta admit, the devs are staying strong to n chaging with all the ppl complaining about. Im gay so the girls dw me but weres the sexy ajax skins????? They need to make it happen

For a modern game this is censored, the difference between this game and Stellar Bade is Jiggle physics.

I'll always respect another person's opinion. With that said though, if you download it for free, you play it for free, and you complain you didn't get enough of the game for free, you have an issue.

It's better than most of the garbage that's launched this yr, but the grind kills it for me as far as best game for me. But I'll play it and stellar blade.

The prob I ran into with frena's ult was that it made it very difficult to grind other ults that required sharen ability.

This is not true. Look at the steam player count. 90% drop off 3 months or so after release. And before you come after me understand I say this with almost 600 hours in tfd. It does have serious retention issues, and they seriously fumbled the first season, not once but twice. Yes sexy sells and it was enough to get a bunch of ppl in at the start especially as it was a free to play. But the toxic microtransactions and the blandness of the endgame loop perfectly explain the drop off. The sexy character models can only do so much. And the fomo bs is serious bs. This is not fair monetization imo. If anything you may be able to say that about warframe re fairness but no not tfd.

TFD monetisation isn't no where near as bad as something like Diablo Immortal or anything mobile gacha crap. I'd say Destiny 2 has worse monetisation too and it's the same type of game from a western dev.

Unfortunately the game is stale outside of skins. Grinding for fragments is not an interesting loop.

Have maxed out my ultimate Valby, earned an ultimate Viessa, and dropped MONEY on ultimate Freyna! I will keep buying the sexiest female characters. And you have my vote for Blair apron lol

Yeah, I think the shop is mostly fine, yes you can skip the grind for descendant and catalyst/activators with money but why play the game then? Ult freyna took me like 4-5h to farm in total, getting two activators on the side, after that ultimate skin is only 21 bucks, no overly cheap but by far not the worst in the industry.....look what league is doing, even their ultmate skins cost more than that. Yeah would be nice if skins were cheaper or we could grind some basic ones, but I also dont have to get every skin they offer, especially with how good the base skins look.

That’s what I like about this game you can leave for a while and come back without feeling left behind like Destiny

Black Desert figured this out quite early. Still the best waifu creation game there is. They managed to charge a base price for the game and monetize it on top of the initial purchase.

People who know how to play TFD, know how to grind for the ultimates. You just really need to know how to navigate access info and calculate your best chances of getting components. Probably doesn’t take more than 2-3 days to get an ultimate descendant/weapon even with a full time job….

Well, Nexon already was caught once when they twist % chance to Zero in their gamble boxes (lootboxes). So a) they rly don't give a F, if it give them money - they'l do it. It can be screwing game mechanic in their benefit or (in this case) printing sexy ladies (witch is minor "offence" compared to the other one) - which i approve, let DEI burn in hellfire!

Depends on the store item. Descendant slots being a dollar each is fine. The seasonal Ajax skin being $40 is outrageous.

Been playing BDO for a while , so im used to these delicious korean style skins...
They do enjoy beautiful women , they have lots of beautiful women in their country , at least from what i've seen... could fall in love and get married in that place every 2 minutes...

And if you buy ultimate descendants and all that stuff, you kind of missing the whole point of the grind dopamine , when it finally drops that 3% chance item ... feels great

If you are going to start playing the First Descendant, finish the story with Bunny and then hard difficult unlocks after that you can start farming those Ultimate characters and weapons. Trying to get ultimate Descendants or weapons on normal difficult is not worth it you are just wasting your time. Another thing is that you must get Shareen and Enzo to make everything easier

The one positive is all the monetization is all cosmetic based so you're not paying to win

TFD isn’t really winning anything. Yes it’s got attractive people which is good, I think. The actual game isn’t that great. The story is forgettable, the grind is trash, drops are also trash, characters are bland, and monetization is one of the worst ever. TFD isn’t showing that KD or even eastern devs are winning. Wukong did that. TFD is showing people have lower standards for eastern devs which isn’t good.

I haven't started her story, but do they explain what happened to her legs? That extra ult skin has some effed up lookin legs.

sad part is the devs haven't forgotten that s*x sells they're just purposely deciding not to sell it cause "men bad" but they forget that depending on were women are just as likely if not more so to buy it then men lol

Subscribed. I have been playing the shit out of this game. It ticks a lot of boxes, hot characters, excellent gun play, challenging content, doesn’t require hours of attention each time you log in… my game of the year.

My wife said this recently that made me die laughing. “I’d much rather stare at a woman’s ass than a mans ass in a video game.” Note: she doesn’t even play the game, just watches me from time to time 😂

I can't wait for Ult Blair, I will go homeless for that XD
