Ryan looked ok he has potential to be better than Oscar De La Hoya but needs to be 100 times better to fight top fighters and better defense cause he won't be able to be real aggressive against top fighters like Gervonta Davis or Hanny also he will need more accurate punching against top fighters he missed alot of punches especially straight right hand straight right hand technique really bad he has no power behind it he needs to watch Mayweather vs Canelo to learn how Mayweather develops power and speed behind right hand if he gets behind in score cards against someone like Haney he's going to lose he can't just avoid to cutoff ring and follow guy around ring like he did in this fight he also needs more effective jab like De La hoya if he wants to challenge top fighters he didn't use jab enough also uppercut was perfect punch for smaller opponent but he didn't through one uppercut he also needs more accurate combination punching when in close he needs to throw 2 punch combinations to body if he can demonstrate accurate combination punching like Roy Jones he will be on another level he has the speed but accuracy simply not there he needs couple more fights with Goosen before chasing Gervonta Davis or Hanny but key to beat those guys is effective jab and speed and controlling distance and effective counter punching. In my opinion he needs more fights and needs to improve punching technique, defense and footwork. He's not ready for top fighters like Gervonta or Haney
