I loathe men who treat ladies disrespectfully, the thought of a man doing something like this to a lady grinds my gears, it makes me so angry that someone could do this to a lady. I adore my wife, I’ve been with her 5 years and known her for 22 years, we became good friends, because I didn’t have the nerve to ask her out, I drank in her pub she ran and thought I’d never have a chance because a man in a pub asking a barmaid out is a cliche, but I still really liked her, so even having her as a friend would suffice as I wanted her in my life. we lost contact for a about 10/15 years and she had been beaten up by ex boyfriends, robbed and treated very badly, it broke my heart hearing this. We reconnected and it tore me up inside to think she had been treated like that. I finally built up the courage to ask her out I wanted to show her that there are gentlemen in this world who will treat her the way a lady should be treated, and now we are married. I adore my wife, and I treat her like the queen she is. She is everything to me and I am nothing with out. Men who treat ladies like that and hurt them are cowards and on a few occasions I’ve heard a few men where I live who have hit a lady, and I’ve paid
him a visit and straightened them out and taught them some manners!

Fantastic comments, my partner had a destructive relationship. Where he used to beat her and be little her. It affected her kids. Now thankfully he's safe from all that. But I still see her mental scars.

I wouldn't consider hitting a woman but if a woman hit me with serious intent behind it then she's going to sleep while I leave and call police. Otherwise, never raise your hand, never throw things and never stop anyone leaving of their own free will. A few relationships I've been 'through' made me realise that if I don't defend myself I'll end up dead with a knife in my chest. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" and I'm living proof of it. The first one tried to set me on fire with turpentine/white spirit, I reckon it was turpentine because I've had constant issues with skin cancer. My body looks like I've been whipped with a cat of nine. The second one battered me in a pub and I've never felt so lonely as that moment, the third one decided to tell her dealer it was my debt.. Abused as a child by a female.. Recently assaulted and locked up by a female sergeant for asking which bus to get after being threatened by a female officer with arrest for swearing in my own home while they turned my house over because of a Wifi signal... So yea, people wonder why I have trust issues and don't simp for women at any level.. Best wishes to your mother. I'm sure she's one of the better ones..
