I watch this scene whenever I am low🙂
ОтветитьBreaking bad may be the best series. But
Thomas Shelby is the best fiction character we ever seen
Loved the scene, why did the other two guys had to die tho...
ОтветитьMan Cillian Murphy acts the FUCK out of this role
ОтветитьI remember watching this before the show blew up, they made it known it was a limited series and I truly thought it was going to end with him dying in a hole🤷🏻♂️
ОтветитьIt so emotional im happy he didnt died 😭😭😭
ОтветитьCillian said in an interview, Tommy is like fuck now I have to go on rather than yippie still alive.
Ответитьwhat is the song that played at the end
Ответитьpov your about to nut and your friend calls you
Ответитьcant wait for the movie. i miss peaky so much
ОтветитьIn the bleak midwinter ❤
ОтветитьTommy crying at the end got me 😭
Ответитьラストの叫ぶシーン日本語のクッソーの言い方に似てて聴いたときちょっと驚いた
ОтветитьSo fucking close❤
ОтветитьI always tell people that this is my favorite Peaky Blinders scene. Rewatching it this time around, it’s still as beautiful. I see people saying that his tears here are tears of relief or that he didn’t want to go and he suddenly had a second chance in life. And these are good interpretations! Tommy was never afraid of death so I personally think that his “rescue” was so unexpected that he suddenly didn’t know what to do. He already accepted his fate but when it was turned around, he realized he was wrong. At this point he always thought he was right and had plans for everything. And for the first time we saw him falter, horrified, and confused. This was the moment we saw that he’s human. I think this was also the first time in the series that we saw him cry. It’s so beautiful!!!
ОтветитьThere is God and there is the peaky blinders, and we are much closer at hand, lucky boro fc liveforever by order of the peaky blinders 🎉
ОтветитьNooo fucking fighting don't fuk with the peaky blinders, still not a final act, lucky boro fc liveforever 🎉
ОтветитьJust watched this scene for the first time tonight and it was so impactful I came online to watch it again. Masterful in every way, I felt so much. Love this show, love this character, and love watching Cillian Murphy bring him to life.
ОтветитьHis face after he trips and picks himself back up is incredible, so many different and complex emotions displayed together, from existential sorrow to feral rage.
The writing is so good too. He had accepted death already as a soldier and just holding out for his brothers, until his heartstrings were reattached to the world by Grace; yet despite this, you can see the calmness that comes over him as he's pushed to his knees. His pilgrimage is finally over, and his pain can come to an end. Only for the marionette strings of the world to grab him again, forcing him back into the tragedy.
I see here MANDELA EFFECT. I'm now rewatching peaky blinders, first watched it 2 years ago. I exactly remember the line was something like:
"were you boys in France?"
They say something, and one asks Tommy
"who were you?"
"A tunneler"
"Smoke".
I exactly remember there was "who were you?"
"tunneler"
"Smoke".
NOT like here:
"Somme, the Bulls"
"Smoke".
This line is changed.
I believe explanation for this is alternate reality. It may sound unrealistic but really read about MANDELA EFFECT. If anyone also remembers it this way leave a like.
Very intense scene
ОтветитьI thought at first he was pissed cuz he ain’t get popped
ОтветитьWhat's the song name?
ОтветитьYes
ОтветитьAbsolutely quality lucky boro fc liveforever by order of the peaky blinders 🎉
ОтветитьThis song is absurdly good! Chills
ОтветитьSong please???
ОтветитьAll My Tears by Ane Brun is in my alarm clock settings. And this scene plays in my head a lot.
ОтветитьAnd there is an oscar, Yeah a award that he deserves. Now he became an actor, Destroyer of the world
ОтветитьDo you think he was supposed to fall? Personally I think its a masterful improvisation by Cillian Murphy, with the shouting and crying, it almost looked like he was holding back laughter
ОтветитьThe northern Irish accent
ОтветитьI really thought Alfie and his men will come in….but this blew me away.
ОтветитьEvery man lives two lives. The second one begins when he realizes he only has one.

Bro just shocked and his tears made me also cry 🫴😊🤍
ОтветитьTommy was actually relieved and ready to die in this scene. His crying while walking away was due to the fact that he'd have to come back to the life he hated living in so badly and shoulder the burden of all the horrible things he's done and all the horrible things he's going to continue to have to do. That frustration of 180 acceptance moments after accepting your own death would make anyone overwhelmed with emotions.
ОтветитьMe after England lost tonight.
ОтветитьHonestly the messenger was badass in the scene, bro got one role and nailed it to perfection
ОтветитьIt‘s interesting how much I like this scene even though one could say it‘s a complete deus ex machina ^^
ОтветитьWow best scene ever ❤
ОтветитьThe thing that made this scene more powerful was what came before it - Tommy rarely reveals his plans to the viewer, unless he's explaining them to his family or co-conspirators.
He had the outline for his takeover of the on course racetrack betting crown since the original stolen guns storyline, and this is several years after that. Taking over from billy kimber was just part 1
This scene comes right after he finished (and succeeded) at part 2: owning the racetracks. If he died at this very moment the Shelby Family would still be in charge of the betting pitches, he just wouldn't be alive to see the fruits of his labor
His emotions were basically a rollercoaster in this scene. He didn’t wanna die just yet but he knew death comes without a notice and the moment he accepted it, he’s told that his time is yet to come. His life is in the hands of other people, people with more power.
ОтветитьThe weight of the world gone in a blink and received again when the eyes were opened.......
ОтветитьThis is easily the best scene in the entire show
ОтветитьThe scariest part about this scene is how well Cillian manages to portray the feelings. Walking away from a near death experience is mindboggling beyond understanding, somehow he manages to capture the feeling.
Ответитьfuck me... what a scene what a song....
ОтветитьShared the same situation it will change you
