Bull moose illegally shot in Four Corners

State wildlife officials are looking for information about a moose found shot near Bloomfield. The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish says the bull moose was found shot and injured earlier this week off County Road 4990 near mile marker 8. It had to be euthanized. Moose are rare in New Mexico. They have been spotted only occasionally near Taos, Chama and Tierra Amarilla and usually wander south from Colorado.
