Nike seems to be doing well by backing those that have been shunned by the less enlightened. It may be calculated to make them money - they need to do that, but it does make a big difference to have this support. Especially when everyone even the president is slamming you. Looks like Nike standing by Kaepernick will serve them well, which it should.

I understand Nike made their decision to represent and endorse Colin K. primarily based on support of the companies’ revenue stream, HOWEVER, Nike is on the right side of history in doing so. New Balance is one of the only athletic shoe companies that have some shoes that are made in the USA. Most of the rest are made in China, Vietnam and Cambodia by children as young as 10 years old for as little as 60 cents a day. Nike, Adidas, Puma, Fila and most other's basically use slave labor to make their product's.
