You need storage. Battery storage. Then you use it yourself. Don't sell back to grid.

I think the quality of the Solar Panels have improved now with technology ⚙.
Each panel can generate 500 Watt of power.
You need at least 🔟 to produce 5Kwt and a battery 🔋 for storage.
It could save you £1,000 per annum.

Martin really you have not done your home work on solar installs. Yes you can install your own solar battery system, so long as you know what you are doing, and your not connected to the grid. Otherwise Ikea would be in trouble, would'nt they! No one can stop you putting solar on your shed or garage or house for that matter.
