Putting Talsin in D is a total shame, wood elves is very strong race by themselves and Orion is still good.

Yes they have problems with economy, but their units very very good, if you attack their forest they'll give you Vietnam.

Airforce destroys artillery and archers (with small support in case of cavalry) destroy everything else. Big lord treant have better general melee power (i mean at all, not damage) than majority of melee lords, and also can heal themselves to be even more tanky, or can cast another magic stuff.

I actually liked being spirit of the jungle on legendary. I cleared the map fast imo, I just mass produced sacred crocs on all generals. Can be a bit moving back and forth around in the jungle, because of the shitty vassal. But once have control of the jungle theres not much trouble just clearing the rest. Didnt find it too hard with generals with doomstack of sacred crocs

Grimgor is far-above-the-rest tier with no real enemy and conf-all by turn 20, Vampires are D tier because the moment they move the whole map declares war on them, but you can have most of Brittonia by turn 20 with Himmler so he's clearly A, Balty is C or even D because of constant negative fealty and the counts are stupid and the vampires, Teclis is C... because of Lokyr (and you don't even know your brother's faction...)(but then Tirion doesn't even know the faction of the blonde he shags...), Yvresse can survive IF Grom doesn't ruin them by turn 3 AND IF Tirion doesn't ruin them then, Reikland can clearly be C because of fealty (and Z with Volky), Imrik depends 100% on Grimgor's rampage, then on Tirion's rampage then he can't trade which is THE elven strongpoint... It's weird you put Dwarves in C while a lot of factions are in the same of even worse spot, while Karaz, for example, can (CAN) get rid of Grimgor by turn 20 and then roll over, but some just can pray not to be razed by their neighbour in the same time because of bad luck (looking at you stupid Empire mechanic and Tirion's cyclothymia). And so on. Not everybody's a player of Legend level ;p

Chaos is the easiest legendary campaign if you are the most patient. I remember I completed it by having close to ten armies up top in the chaos wastes before waiting for them to descend. Only legendary campaign I completed.

I doubt that clan Eshin is S tier, it's one of the hardest factions to play. It's obivously nice to use that action 5 tier late in the game but you need to reach this stage...

In regards to the Spirit of the Jungle! You can ask your vassal almost every second turn for money up to 10k. That really helps your economy. Then you also have the rite where later on can easily spam for 50% more income from the vassal.

Having played as both Nagarythe and Yvrese, I can PROMISE you that Nagarythe does not belong in S tier especially compared to Yvrese. Yvrese belongs in S+ tier with Mistwalker Sanctum's alone. Being given a whole bunch of extra AND experienced units you can also recruit with regiments of renown is a life saver especially if you are pressed for building slots and need a quality army same turn. It's such a huge booster in the early game and I would trade it for Nagarythe's Realm Pathway 10 out of 10 times. Warden's cage is another great bonus that becomes STUPID powerful with the 5-15% compound interest and that's before doing the "gift a faction you locked into one settlement all your money" glitch where you can have millions before turn 100. Finally Yvrese's position in the badlands is much easier than Nagarythe cornered on all sides especially by expanding overpowered Malekith unless you can blitz him or wait for Warriors of Chaos to deal with him. Keep in mind a Shadow walker doom stack will not save you starting mid/late game. Trust me I know LOL.

So this is a little off topic, but as a newish player I've noticed there seems to be a tension in terms of how many lords or armies people use in the campaign. Playing on normal for example, I tend to need more armies than elite players do to cover the same amount of area, so I pay the supply lines tax and being on normal, I can kind of afford it.

I mention this because in the case of both Slann Life Priests and Gray Seers, folks have described them as "the faction's best generals" (for different reasons,) and what I'm wondering is... how do you guys really have the room for non-legendary lords, especially since confederations seem like such a big part of high level play?

It would seem to me, that at best, you're all using ONE non-legendary lord as a support unit for your main army early and then waiting until turn 60ish to get your 3rd army; which is fine, I can see why that's "good play" but by then don't you just have a legendary lord or two in your back pocket? I could for example see rocking a Gray Seer over say Craventail, but am I really going to leave Tenny or Oxy on the sidelines for a Life Slann? Doesn't seem like I do that very often.

Is this wrong? Are confederations just not that big a deal because the LL aren't anything special compared to top tier non legendary lords? I'm confused and it seems like the messages I get online, from both Legend and other streamers, is... both. I just want to know what best play is so I can fail to copy it and get myself into trouble.

Edit: just for example; I'm currently on turn 95 in a Clan Skryre campaign and the only non-legendary lord I have in service is the rank 26 Warlock Engineer I bought at the very start. I've got a few randos in the recruiting pool because of actual confederations (instead of the confed dead factions mod) but they're A) nothing special and B) will never be hired unless I just need a body to defend someplace my fortifications can't handle on their own. No Gray Seers at all; just didn't need one early and by the time I might have needed one, I already had Skrolk and enough Plague Priests to handle the magic side of my army. Is this wrong? Would a Gray Seer general be kicking more butt than Skrolk or say Deathmaster Snikch? Keeping in mind both those guys are in Clan Skryre now and thus lose some of their punch.

Thank you for the vid. Was cool. Just have 2 critiques; first being that the presentation could be better. If you had just cropped the video to only include the tierlist site or just gone into fullscreen I think the video would have been a bit more appealing visually. Second one just being that the background music was distracting. If the music is going to be that active and energetic, I think it would be best if it were quite a bit quieter than your voice.

Otherwise I enjoyed the vid a lot!

I remmember once time I was playing as beastmen I was looking for Korq Gar's trait to make a one man doomstack when all of a suden Grimgor's faction, who was the strongest in the damn map and was expanding over everybody, disapears and it's territory gets replaced with yellow generic factions, that's when I realized that the AI can use Clan Eshin's shadowy dealings

Arenessa Saltspite is heavily associated with Norsca. She was born a Norscan but iirc left to die by her parents when their village got raided, so she hates Norsca. Maybe if they made her a Norscan faction that had severe penalties with other Norscans and had access to the gun units from Vampirates that would be cool.

I gotta say the most OP thing about Eshin is assassins lair at level 1-3 so tou can stack x4 in a large province and crank out assassins at level 24, by the time anything gets near you you can wreck x20stacks from LL's with skavenslaves if tou desire 🤣

Huntsman Expedition sucks so bad because of that mechanic. So badly trying to get that long campaign victory right now and having to keep 2-3 armies through my territory just to hopefully repel the random attack is miserable to deal with.

Oxyotl is a-tier at least. All climates are suitable for him (super strong), and he can teleport around the map, which is very good. Chameleon skinks become super powerful with low upkeep - not only in his army but in all armies - and it is possible to grind down more or less the whole map with them alone.

Bretonnia is border line C tier. Their cavalary and infantry is trash with the exception of flying cavalary. Flying cavalary and no supply lines is their only saveing grace. I don't know how can you say that they are the strongest old world race. Empire is the superior human race by a large margin.
